Winter Passing

I concede to the laments that Winter Passing has not been mentioned. I have not seen it myself which I consider unfortunate. But, there are many movies I would love to see and have not. So, with that being said...I earlier voted on Elf as the funniest movie in the already supplied list but I would speculate that Winter Passing is better.

sigh

He is an awful actor and isn't funny. I blame all of the youth's problems on him.

Um...

Can anyone say Winter Passing?

Stranger Than Fiction

...is my favorite Will Ferrell movie. It is smart, well-written and proves he can actually act, as opposed to acting like the same raging pinhead he always does. Really, this one-trick pony get more and more painful to watch with every spaced-out jughead he plays. The only thing that makes him bearable in that mode is when he is a secondary character, rounding out a fabulous funny cast as in "Anchorman" or "Zoolander."

Wil Ferral

Anchorman is my favorite. It should be your favorite, too. Many classic lines in that one.

Elf

I haven't seen all the movies listed and therefore cannot be completely objective. But from what I have seen Elf, despite the cloying story of everyone forgetting the true meaning of Christmas and one protaganist's attempt to save the holiday, is funny. At least it's funny when Will Ferrell is dressed in his elf suit. Once he trades green tights for a necktie, the movie gets a bit more campy and looses its humor (the only thing redeemable).
