| Posted By: VS Posted On: May 21, 2005 Views: 725 | Srbija i Crna Gora (Serbia and Montenegro) Hello all I am writing from Australia and I would just like to say that my favourite entry for the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest is that of Serbia and Montenegro. Their song 'zauvijek moja' is a classic. It has an excellent rhythem, lyrics and is exceptionally well sung by the young men. The video clip showcases the beautiful scenery that is Montenegro, an excellent tourist destination. The song also represents SCG well, with its ethnic cultural vibe and a traditional style of music expressed to suit the europe of 2005. The song has big shoes to fill in regard to its predeccessor 'Lane moje' by Zeljko Joksimovic, who I thought was brilliant last year and should have won the competition hands down. This year it will be a closer battle and I think it will be between Serbia-Montenegro and Greece. Greece's Helena is a very beautiful, very sexy and extremely talented singer and probably deserves to be favourite for this year's competion. Greece have been close before but never won. Slovenia is another country I was impressed with in the semi final, but unfortunately they didnt make the final, maybe next year. However the fact that Serbia-Montenegro after such a long absence, to come out the way they did in 2004, and with a very impressive item for 2005, I think they will be a well deserved champion. Shiri Maymon proved very early that she is one of the most capable performers with one of the best voices at the Eurovision Song Contest. Shiri Maymon is elegant, blonde, female singer in gorgeous dresse :-) so.. i think that Israel will be in top 5. |
