Ehh.. Todd, seriously.. What's it matter? I, personally, am not comfortable in anything but my Birks. They do that groovy mold to your feet thing, they keep your feet dry, they are easy to get in and off.. I wear sandals probably 95% of the time. Exceptions being at the gym, and when I want to look nice in a dress or something. Fortunately, Birkenstocks make all sorts of styles now, and if you dont want to look too "crunchy", you dont have to. They are even super cheap on Ebay. However, if you are gonna be self conscious in them all day, I definately suggest you go another way. In any case Todd, I think you should go for it. And your big toes are awesome. :D
