Wicked

Uh, several of those are still in use. Wicked, for example. It seems to be mostly a Bostonian thing, although people in other areas may still use it. In fact, there's a They Might Be Giants song called Wicked Little Critta which is about Boston dialect. www.tmbg.com Go to that site, click on the ECards button (which AFAIK you can't actually send to people) repeatedly until "Wicked Critta" comes out of the accordian, then click on it and it will play.

RE: Wicked

"Wicked" is alive and well in upstate NY as well. I'll sheepishly admit that its part of my vocabulary.

RE: Wicked

I grew up in Boston. I use that word constantly. My ex-girlfriend, Rachel, uses 'Grody' a lot, but she's an idiot who eats paint chips, so she doesnt count.

I'm a highschool student in California and I actually hear most of these at least on a monthly basis. It makes me happy though, because they're kind of fun.

The east coast is rich and the west coast is cool but anything in between is a vast expanse of boring. Especially Pennsylvania
