I think he's working with them because they're lying to him, telling them they'll make DreamLand a better place or something like that and he (somehow) bought all that. Or maybe they have something that's valuable to MK and are menacing him with breaking it or something if he doesn't cooperates...all we can do is guess... |

Nice eye, Da Bomb-Omb, but remember Luigi in Melee, he was sort of an Adventure mode boss, and you could fight him as Luigi. Plus, you could get MK later in the game, as in he might double cross them, according to the fact that the screenshot seems like a later point in the game. And the E3, isn't it just to introduce the stages and characters? Speaking of which, I think the Halberd is gonna be a new stage. So it could be the final or one of the final stages in Adventure Mode, like Final Destination was (except you might have Halberd before, like Kongo Jungle). And I'm not trying to contradict you, I'm just laying down some theories. If only THEY SAID MORE ABOUT MK! I should go preorder Brawl, too. And now this ridiculously long post comes to an end. Anyways, I noticed something a while back that suggests that his warship was NOT stolen. Go watch the E3 trailer again... yup, he's standing there on his warship as it takes off. One other thing, though, that I just noticed... http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/gamemode/modea/modea02.html Fourth screenshot. What's this? He's fighting the Subspace Army? Ah-ha! This means (well, besides that he's not working with the SA) he IS playable in adventure mode, which means he cannot be a boss character or (probably) general "bad guy" of just about any sort. Actually, it's possible he originally was working with the Subspace Army, but double-crossed them... Ah, I think I'll quit theorizing now and wait for more facts and screenshots. For all we can tell, this Adventure Mode could be a gripping tale filled with suspense, betrayal, and a good dose of action. And if that's what it is, then I'm all for it! *goes off to pre-order SSBB* |

They don't mention much about him on the site, and Petey's there, so I don't know. I hope he either has a plan, was kidnapped,(so they could do Escape From the Halberd or something) or they stole it(so he could get revenge). I really want to play as him and I REALLY want them to make him good! |
