Bangladesh Batting

If you look at any team world-wide, their best batsmen all bat as openers or at no 3. Habibul Bashar has to bat as an opener to give him the maximum number of deliveries. If we play Bashar at 3, I'd play Ashraful as the opener. He's the only Bangladesh batsman who can play over the top. He needs to get is forward defence sorted out. He's getting nicked out too many times.

My ODI lienup: Hannan, Ashraful, Sumon, Rajin, Alok, Tushar, Mushfiq, Pilot, Sujon(c), Koushik, Rafiq.

Test: Hannan, Golla, Sumon, Rajin, Ashraful, Alok, Pilot, Sujon(c), Koushik, Rafiq, Talha

Good Luck........

Yes it becomes a burning question that who will open the innings with Hannan Sharkar. And the best two choice should be Nafis Iqbal and Shahriar H. Bidyuth. Rest of others are experimented and become flop. Thats why the selectors should to think different now. Nafis is a very good batsman, no doubt about it but he has to gather more experience to play in this level. We have already got a very bad result from Ashraful, he is also a genius batsman but not enough matured. The young stars should play more for U-23 and Bangladesh 'A' before given a chance to play for the national team. Thats why the Selectors should to give one more chance to the experienced SHAHRIAR HOSSAIN BIDYUTH. Good Luck Bidyuth, Good Luck BANGLADESH.....

Best 11 for England series

ODI Series:
1)Hannan 2)Habibul basar 3)Rajin 4)Alok 5)Pilot 6)Tushar Imran 7)Musfiqur 8)Sujon[capt] 9)Rafique 10)Masrafee 11)Baishya/Shanto

*1. Its better if No.7 Batsman could have abilities like Flintof Or R.Powel//
*2. No way as of now Habibul has to open until we can get any specialist Openar
*3.Opee could be given some chances considering The chances given to Rokon or Asraful

Test Series:
1)Hannan 2)Golla 3)Habibul Basar 4)Rajin 5)Alok 6)Pilot 7)Sujon[capt] 8)Sumit/Musfiqur 9)Rafique 10)Masrafee 11)Baishya

*1.If spinning Track then one extra spinner could be added aside from Rafique.Musfiqur can be a useful batsman for test side with his bowling also.

best 11

In my opinion,
the best eleven for one day matches is:
Hannan, Mushfequr, Bashar, Rajin, kapali, Ashraful*, Pilot, Rafique, Talha/M. Sharif, Taposh, Kowshik.
* A little unsure. How many more chances should he be given to show his so called 'talent!!!!'.
** Taposh and Khowshik should/must be transformed into allrounders.

The best 11 for test matches:
Hannan, Golla, Bashar, Rajin, kapali, Ashraful*, Pilot, Rafique, Talha/M. Sharif/Fahim Muntasir, Taposh, Kowshik.

one day and test

I know we all expected just a win! but Remember this was Pakistan who is playing for a while and produced great cricketers. So, I think Bangladesh played very impressively against them especially the batting and sometimes balling at the later ones were really remarkable and thrilling. Our top and middle order showing improvement. I also think Bidyut, Nafis Iqbal and even Ashraful have the potential to open it, but they need to play more games even with U23 and Bangladesh A team frequently to brush up their skills. We also should send our new youngsters Rajin, Kapali, babu, and o thers and also experienced bashar to temporary trainings in Australia or the country which shows a friendship attitude with us for our improvement.
Rafiq is doing a great job, but we need him to a match winner spinner. I know I am expecting lot from this guy. But he has the potential and spirit. We also need to find another specialist spinner( all-rounder will be great) for future. And we should not wait till Rafiq retires, we need to find that guy immediately.
Though our bowling line up and performance improved. But Masrafee needs more tips from the greats because he holds the potential. Tapash doing great, and babu is impressive. If we can send them to Australian pace academy or any renowned pace academy for even a brief period with the great bowlers, they will improve by time. And we have to search extensivley entire Bangladesh for a good pacers. I believe somewhere someplace there is Brett Lee or Shoaib Akther or even MacGrath out there.
I apologize for this long comments. But most of all we all love Bangladesh and cricket, and also dream that we will atleast improve and get the win one day. If it comes slowly, it's fine but our players have to have the desire, spirit and honesty to snatch the win one day and take our country to a respectful position. And I know we can do it. Best wishes to Bangladesh and all the players.

Coool it!

To all the supporters of Bangladesh Team.

I think our team is doing fine and Insha Allah, they will show more profitable result in the future, so please go on supporting the team.

Hey readers what do you think of Mushfiqur Rahman & Hannan Sarkar as Opening Pair. I think Banlgadesh team should experiment at this stage and see which openers gives more fruits.

Thank You.

Opening Pair

I think Nafis has a brilliant career ahead of him. Please do not ruin his career by making him a hero prematurely. We have almost ruined Ashraful. The young stars should play more for U-23 and Bangladesh 'A' before given a chance to play for the national team. We should prefer experience and maturity ahead of flamboyance especially at the top of the innings. The experiment with Khaled Mashud is a correct one I think. Even though he failed once, he has got the essential temperament to hold the innigns together, although the probelm is if he fails at he top of the innings- there is no one to hold it at the end. depending of the importance and state of the match in ODIs, rafique may be given another chance. Often one of our opening bates men scores less than 5, he could do no worse. Opee, Shahriyar Hossain, Javed Omar all should all be given a chance in rotation.

Uncertain Opening Partner

I would like to see SAHRIAR HOSSAIN regain his lost possition as an opener in our team. I thought he did well in the first part of his career.
Among the players being nominated to form an strong opening partnership with HANNAN SARKAR,I do not see any better batsman than him. Because he is the one who can play those strokes in the start of the innings. He can build the innings and make those ever neccessery partnerships for his team.
The other strong candidate is I think NAFIS. But to gain this possition he has got to go a bit more. Because he needs more experience.

Opening Juti!

The opening pertnership of Bangladesh is not lasting for atleast 10 overs in last few days. Every of experiments done at those matches are become flop. You know Mohammed Rafiq the har hitting tailender batsman had oppened in one ODI in his carrier, and he had scored his carrier best 72 in that match. So why we cant try atleast 1 more time with Rafiq? Am I wrong?
