I get DirecTV for my main living room TV, but recently got a new TV for the bedroom and it is a wide-screen LCD Digital-ready set. I hooked up my old TV antenna in my attic and am getting all the new digital stations from Buffalo. My brother pointed out that the quality of the signal for DTV sets is so good that the cable company might lose customers when they see how good the over-the-air signal can be. On the other hand, I know people out here in Niagara County who wasted their time on the converter boxes because they can't get a good enough signal for DTV even with an outdoor antenna. |
