The importance of the port facility to the entire nation will, in itself, be the impetus for the rebuilding. The residencial, tourist and cultural aspects of the rebuild will follow but it will take years. When you look at the history of this great city, it is obvious that the people have been through hard times before and they have always come back. I look forward to visiting New Orleans in the future as I have in the past. There is no other city like it in the U.S.A. |
