I did not resign from from the Planning Commission...I served two complete terms as prescribed by the Pleasanton Ordinance...ending in 1996. I ran against Ben Tarver for Mayor (coming in second place) in 1998(?) after completing my stint as Planning Commissioner. I strongly agree with your editorial. In my opinion, those people who run for Pleasanton City Council or Mayor while seated on a Pleasanton Board or Commission are ethically challenged!!! Jack Hovingh |
