So I try to shut up most of the time, and keep my conversation for times like 'after orgasm talk' and 'interview talk'. One of the most positive generalizations about FTV has been that the 'stupid photographer knows when to shut up'. BTW-- About Nicole, I'd love to bring her back, she would be a good candidate for an FTV hawaii shoot, but not sure because she's unavailable to me right now. Hint: She's dating a competing website owner. |

Rob will do whatever he likes and that's the product he puts out. Obviously, he listens to customers about what they like and then works around their interests as he can. I like the interaction. I don't think of women as props or visuals... i like when they are interacting with someone (girls, guys... it doesn't matter). You get their true personality when they talk and open up. If they shut up, you get acting most of the time and FTV isn't about acting (or at least it shouldn't be). Rob doesnt' have to **** the girls (it's not a b/g site after all), but hearing his voice doesn't detract from the delivery at all. If it opens the girl up and gets her more comfortable and into it, I say why not? |

Basically he was saying for me to shut up. Well I keep silent for most if not all of the shoot, except for those points where I want them to talk about their orgasm, or video of photoshoot, or interview etc.. Like I've always said, I try to maintain a balance, where its not too much talking, but not dead silence either. Some girls need more talking, simply because they will lighten up more, and talk more in return. Just depends. About burning out... well I am way past that point... but wouldn't you work 14-18 hours a day, 7 days a week if you were paid tons of money to work with naked girls, or edit their videos? My worry is that one day, when I do finally break down & end shooting, what happens to FTV updates? I'd need to hire someone, and there isn't anyone unfortunately. Not only that, I've been starting to edit HD stuff, and the editing takes about 4x as long as regular videos. That just blows. |

They are not at the membership levels that FTV claims, but I think over time they will be up there. You can't stop good quality once the word gets out! I would never mention them here of course, but they are definitely out there. I think in the videos there needs to be a balance to how much the camera interacts with the girls (as right now the only camera interaction is the interviews). I personally feel like the ladies look lost or bored at times and some interaction from Rob/the camera would definitely help that. After all, these vids aren't shot "fly on the wall/voyeur" style; the girls obviously are performing for the camera (and enjoy doing that) and every girl I have ever known loves to show off to someone and appreciates comments and interaction. I don't feel like interaction changes the feel or would make it "gay" because there is a man's voice in the audio. It can still be extremely sexy/sexual having a balance between the normal silence that is standard with FTV and someone commenting here and there to get the girl's performance level higher. Just my opinion.......... |

As much as I hate to say it Rob, you need a break. Your solo sites, AlisonAngel, Lia19, etc, could manage with their own personal shoots for a while if they can learn how to edit the vdeos and add them to their own sites. Besides, they have their chat forums to tide us members over. And perhaps someone like Lia could help FTV tick over for a week or two. She seems to be getting better with video camera work, although how reliable she is at getting up in the mornings and organizing things, I suspect she has a way to go there. But if you burn out, where do we go then? {Notice the purely personal and selfish reasons for me suggesting you have a break, } You need to take care. Mark |

Nobody in the industry seems to get it. Well FTV is not everyone's cup of tea... but if you're into solo stuff where guys aren't in the way, FTV is the place to be. Because nobody else has figured out how to do good solo right (or simply doesn't have the energy or care to try to put together more than 30 minutes of video of a girl in an update) ... FTV stays on top. Right now at 33,000 active members, its the world's largest solo girl site. But I am burning out. I wish I could have found someone to emulate my work properly. My last attempt at hiring someone was the Priscilla California shoot, and as you can see it was a failure. Still though, I get angry emails every day of members complaining that there is no boy/girl, etc... makes no sense to me, I don't put any indication of that on my tour... |

I appreciate that now more than ever after joining two of the sites you link to (I won't name them). Neither one of them knows what they're doing with the video camera. Absolutely horrible angles and edits make them rarely sexy. Worst of all is having to hear the photographer's voices - one guy's voice is so nasal it almost makes my dick shrink into my body despite what might be on the screen! What a waste of beautiful & sexy women. I think in all your videos combined you speak less than they do in one of their videos. Bravo to you for that! Keep up the great work. Your affiliates could learn a lot from you - especially the one with all the quotes from magazines claiming he's so great with porn. What a joke!! I've asked that site to give me my money back. If they do, I'll be spending it to extend my subscription with you. David |
