Worst Buy, i.e Best Buy

Best Buy operates like Wal Mart, with brainless employees and vast purchasing power, but their prices are 10-25% higher than their competition. Their managers are solely numbers driven and the company (Geek squad & all) have no sense of customer service. They've lied to me about products on multiple occasions just to get me to buy things. Luckly, I have figured it out before losing big $. They don't follow through with warranty issues and if you want to talk to one of their stupid teenagers, you spend 30+ minutes tracking them down and draggin them away from doing nothing. Visit www.bestbuysux.org and see for yourself.

RE: Worst Buy, i.e Best Buy

you'll get that kind of service at every place that pays on commission....wouldnt you do the same?
i never had a problem with their employees...theyve always been really nice and imformative...ive even been steered away from more expensive purchases because he said that it was more than what i needed and that this other thing would do just fine...i havent had a problem with it (a router)

there was this huge guy that was trying to sell the big screen tv's, a real corn-fed mule ...we were thinking about a 65 inch...it was huge....the guy started telling us about measurements and how it would look in a normal sized living room...he was kinda right, but all the crazy measurements kinda threw us off...he had no idea what he was saying

RE: Worst Buy, i.e Best Buy

best buy just bought a bank tower by the city and their totaling it and building a small best buy store there
so instead of having two 30 story bank towers right next to eachother...theres gonna be one, and then a bestbuy right by it...sounds retarded

I found the only department where the employees are really knowledgable is the game department

RE: Worst Buy, i.e Best Buy

tot the last person-

you are a coward and know ****, at most. check out www.bestbuysux.org and you'll find that I am not alone. I've talked to numerous current and former Best Buy employees and the company provides little to no training and very few of their employees have their earnings based solely on commission. They typically make a small percentage off of warranties and are required by management to sell certain quotas of them.

don't even think about telling me that I don't know what I'm talking about because I can smell the bull**** pouring from your mouth all the way from here.
