It's pretty ironic, that David is so gay for Bush. Usually you'd have to be a woman to earn that kind of statement. Congrats David!

There's no irony lost in the fact that David misses the point, that complaining about the president on the Internet is not only doing something, it's 1st amendment patriotism. Isn't it funny that Clinton was threatened with impeachment for having sex with an intern, yet when Bush sends poor American youth to war looking for weapons of mass distruction there's no media cry for impeachment.

We need more pussies on the internet complaining about the gov't, the president, and their stonghold on the mdia.

hey kids, im the one who made the bushiphant. I really, honestly didnt have a politcal motive, or anything. i just thought about the republican elephant, and that it would be funny to put the presidents face on an actual elephant. Can't we all just come together as people who love OT? there are other sites for political junk. its just a silly contest, so everyone chill out and enjoy the fun... haha. (Bee positive!) I personally think the canadian beaver is the best because its fun-ay, and thats the point. :o)

Look at how riled up people are getting over a PHOTOSHOPPED PHOTO. And half a world away, there's a bunch of folk getting P.O.'d about a political cartoon.

All this because folk have a problem tolerating freedom. Some folk can't handle it or simply, they don't believe in it.

If a people are so sure about their belief system, why the need to bash everyone else who doesn't believe/disagree?

I bet if everyone who looked at this chat became president, then there would be someone who did not like them no matter what they did or did not do. So maybe you don't support W's decisions in Iraq and so on, that's part of being an American - FREE SPEECH and all. To the person who suggested "doing something", I'm guessing that they didn't mean something violent. How about following in the footsteps of Dr. King or Ghandi? You be the positive change that you want in this world. I truly believe this is what CAN set the US apart from radical jerks throughout the world who attack people and nations over a stupid political cartoon. Here in America, we take action by taling and reasoning. Do you think poineers in the long line of Progressivism would herald violence and hate in the face of difference? My guess is no.

Anywho, this is about who can draw a funny cartoon, and not about how liberals don't like Bush, conservatives don't like Kerry, and no one likes to hear Al Gore talk or see him dance like the whitest of white old men. The elephant was a good idea and turned out pretty darn sweet. However, I like the beaver and think it is really funny. Plus, we American's need Canada for a good laugh now and then. Ay?

First: To the person who believes computer graphics are not art and cannot mean anything: you obviously have no knowledge of art. Take any art course at high school or university level and you'll make a computer image at some point. What's more your professor will expect you to say something significant through that art.
Second, I think all the people saying "Bush isn't patriotic" need to take a chill pill. The image is rolling on the floor funny, especially if you think Bush is not patriotic. It is pee-your-pants funny irony. Perhaps Bush is unconstitutional, perhaps he is part of an ellaborate scheme set in place by his father to use terror against Americans in order to brainwash us all and take over the world... but that is what makes this funny. We ought to consider our PRESIDENT a patriotic figure; however, many people in this country do not.
Please, y'all need to calm down. It is art. It is funny. And, if you like to find "subtext" and "hidden meaning" you have enough material here to write a great midterm exam essay. I voted for it, and I'd do it again. It demonstrates great skill and a keen sense of humor. Great job.
