my take on marriage

Men should be able to cheat on their wives as long as the #2 woman is a whore or a slut. It's always been that way and it should remain that way, it is better for the wife to bury suspicions and maintain a stable home then try to bring everything out in the open and end up with a divorce, with the kids in the middle of it all. However, she is free to lose some weight and entice her man in other ways to keep him from sharing the bed with another woman.

RE: my take on marriage

I am a HUGE supporter of women not letting themselves go! You see way too many women dressing like grandmas when they are 30, overweight and carrying around a couple of little kids...how sexy is that? I agree, totally, except for I think it is a personal decision that you shouldn't want to cheat on your spouse, it really hurts yourself and the guilt is awful! I didn't cheat on my ex-husband, but I did sleep with someone ONCE while we were separated - we had been separated for 5 months, which to me is NOT cheating, but he thinks that I cheated on him, but he is an ass, and oh well...but I still felt really guilty about it because we got back together for a few years after that! On the flip side - men should still treat their wife like he did somewhat while they dated, like buy gifts, flowers,l cards, etc...then she will still like him when he is being an ass! It goes both ways, but in the end, being married is tough, and I'm not sure if I ever want to get married again.

wow, I'm about to get married and it almost seems like every single person around me has some horrible horror stories about it and I'm getting sick and tired of it. It's almost as though nobody has anymore positive outlooks on life at all, seriously, wtf.

RE: my take on marriage

You're that same twit that posted a couple of weeks ago about how you're getting married soon. Well, chances are good your marriage will fail one way or another. This country has a 50% divorce rate and of the people that do stay together most are miserable and have to work their asses off to raise their kids. You're in love now so naturally you have a positive outlook on your relationship. Just wait.
