One was given to me in 1949 and I used it 2 years in High School, 6 years in College and higher education, and 10 years of my Air Force career. It wrote literally thousands of pages of notes, hundreds of pages of reports, signed thousands of military orders, and thousands of signatures. I took it around the world three times, and flew all over the world with it in an aircraft. NOT ONCE DID IT EVER FAIL TO PERFORM! It had dozens of different kinds of ink. I had one nib replaced when I dropped it. I still have the pen and all it needs now is a new sack. The filling button still works. How is that for a $19 pen and pencil set? |
