I see the early results and it looks like the Snork will win, yet again reinforcing the fact that the Skyline is one underestimated pen. Good things about Skylines: 1. Simple design (simple always better) 2. Fun to collect because so many variations (remember the Parker Duofold didn't really change a whole lot for many years, what about P51, very much "sameness") 3. Some of the most fantastic nibs you will ever get on a pen. 4. Although the design isn't liked by everyone, it was pretty innovative by a very well designer. I agree the snork is an interesting pen, the complexity of the design does not make it overly practical unless you know how to restore them. Oh well, go Skyline go, Z |
