midnite again!

I am always impressed by Midnite`s(I Grade) ability to again produce a truly original, unconventional, roots album. This band keeps raising the bar for roots reggae. I like it how Vaughn and his brother just complement each other vocally and the lyrics are always deep and smartly constructered. When you listen to "enter" the bassline is just heavy and the light nyabhingi drum in the back is well chosen(evidence of their perfect feel for creating the roots flavour). You just need a little bit longer but given the time you just discover in almost every album of this band how good they are. Frankly i did not like "Project iii" and "Cipheraw" at first but now, listening to them more times, their just great and this is in my opion still an understatement.

Peace from the netherlands!

Jah Grid

The initiated and those with a taste for the exotic, however, should once again find themselves entranced by Benjamin's charismatic voice and insightful lyrics..."

you wanted to write Vaughn didn't you?
