I have to say I really don't like either of them. It was alright in the beginning I guess, but the shows are something quickly outgrown and I end up not really caring what judge is choosing what act due to some personal bias rather than whether or not the act is actually any good. There was abig stink last yeat on Pop Idol due to one of the judges voting for an act which it turned out had performed for something he had set up before they were even on the show, though until busted he claimed he had no prior contact or knowledge of the act. Too much drama and backstabbing and personal favourites to be based on 'real' talent. The shows seem to be more about a combination of bias and keeping the fans at home on the edge of outrage so they stay tuned in.
