entertainment, an end and a means...

Anything can be entertaining to anyone of various ages.

Any plans for the cons, anyone?

fan age and length

The poll results don't surprise me in the least. They reflect the fandom of the actual Hellsing manga/anime and what the manga/anime was aimed at.

Myself, I am 23 though friends, family and strangers have all told me I act more like thirty. I've been a fan for about three years now ever sence an anime fan friend bought the series and showed it to me. Can't be a fan unless you know the show! Otherwise I would have loved Integral just as much as I do now as early as middle school. Only back then my 'kick-but woman hero worship' cetered on Leia Organa. :P:)

yay OT!

Been a Hellsing fan for about a year now, and picked up Shine this spring. I love the stories; I just wish Anderson showed up more (I'm a rabid Anderson fan, being Scots-Irish).

Age

I turned 21 this year, so hooray for sake!
Plus, congrats on graduating!
Plus again, the skit is coming along wonderfully for my parody. I changed a little bit of the lyrics to make it more directive, but most of them are still the same. If I can, I'll get it recorded on video and send it to yah!
Peace out

age

Yeah I turned 22 this year, I have been an interga fangirl snice I was it when I was 17, I think the sexual innuendos is what appeals to the older age group. As I said before the hot powerful woman is what got me hooked

Ah, outlyers.

I know five 7-year-olds who like hellsing, though their parent's really WOULDN'T let them watsh Red Rose Vertigo. They said it was way too racy. That scene with the baobhan sith is what their referring to, despite the fact that one of the triplets later watched it and described the scene in great detail to the other two. (*highly amused*).

why not...

I'm also 22, have followed Shine since the Intergra/Maxwell arc and Hellsing since I was...oh I must have been 17/18ish. I used to watch vampire films when I was a tot though so, had Hellsing the internet and Shine been about at the time, I probably would have followed both then. I don't see why other than the fact that ,10 is finite.

Age

I'm 22...

Most of the people I find who like Hellsing are between 16-30... Roughly. ( The poll already reflects this, tho :P)

I've liked Hellsing since I was 18.

Obviously

Who WOULDN'T expect 16-18 year olds to be the majority? The manga WAS aimed at older teens.

Frankly, I'd actually expect more older folk to enjoy it, given it's a bit more mature than most manga I've actually seen (save for hentai, ick! Gross! Should be burnt!), but what REALLY surprises me is that someone under ten would read it... I always figured kids that age freak out at the mere meantion of the blood sucking blokes I so adore...

(Alucard is mine. ^^ Unless Integral wants me... Ooo, that sounded dirty! I'm not that kind of girl!)

Best of minorities

Ha, I always like to belong to the minority - being sooo self-centered, and egoist and all :)

Past 30, life looks soooo exciting :)

Thought it's quite expected

Quoted from Emi: "Who'd'a thunk thats how this would have turned out. A crapton of 16-18 year olds."

Actually, I expected such a result. It just... Makes sense... don't you think?

wow

Who'd'a thunk thats how this would have turned out. A crapton of 16-18 year olds.

anywho. I know of at least who are in the 40+ catigory who read every now and again, but prolly won't participate in the poll (because they prolly won't see it)

Me... I'm 22... and looking around I feel OLD now.
