What happened to my party?

I can't believe I'm turning into a democrat! I feel dirty! I feel used!

RE: RE: What happened to my party?

Ok, can someone explain this for me? Why do we even have parties? Thats the point? You have people running, they say what they hope to do while in office, you vote for whoever you think will do the best job, right? Everyone I know just votes for whoever is in their party, and doesn't even take to time out to bother to see who would be better. I get what each side generally hopes for/does, is that why people stick with a party instead of voting for the better one? Yea, sometimes you get lucky and the person you want to vote for is in your party, but what if not? Isn't running for office in the U.S.A. and for the American people good enough? Why do they bother.... I'm going to stop before I get into a full blown rant...

Anyway, I just finished downloading the full version of Loose Change 2nd Edition and I'm going to watch it. Latter.

RE: What happened to my party?

I didn't start this one, just asked a question. Now here's the thing, are you going to answer it or just dismiss it? If thats the case why bother replying? If you have been here any amount of time you know what you just did isn't going to make me stop.

RE: What happened to my party?

I didn't ask you to stop, I asked people to ignore you, and I seem to have succeeded... so suck on that.

RE: What happened to my party?

I think people are more likely to vote for their parties candidate because supposedly the person is pretty much representing that party, SO, if feel that more of your personal beliefs fall within the republican party or the democratic party, you are just more likely going to vote that way...that shouldn't be surprising.
