Good points, but I just know that the guy that sells swords and stuff beside me (buys them from QVC and resells them) makes over $300 a weekend and he's not paying any. Sooo.... I'll find out about how to make it all official and stuff. I sold three shirts to some guy from the S something something (SCA?). I'll be working on those for the next month. One month working your ass off for $2000, and knowing that your going to have lots of repeat customers. I also started training someone else to help. A little kid that won't leave me and Krisbish (old people here will remember her) alone has started cutting rings. OK, steaks on the grill so I'm going to leave. |

Everyone was kinda like a big family (ok, thats a bit much) everyone asked questions, like if a new band is ok for their kid to listen to, or what classes they were taking that semester, and if they had a bad day or needed advice that was here to. Some how it has degraded into this. GUW may remember some of it. I don't remember anyone who has been here longer... Goddes, now I sound like the old man wishing for things lost........ |

You are in fact, the oldest veteran of this forum, then me, then GirlUWant. And actually, it was never "a big family" like you described. Yes, people asked for advice and they still do, but there has never been a time when ridicule was not included in the advice. People don't really ask compelling questions now because there isn't much to be asked. But, I actually do have a question for you, so heres one of the things youve been missing, even if I cant bring back Aurora and Dr. Zhivago. What good points are you referring to, because the only real point anyone made in response to your taxes thing was when Rox said "if you're running a business and not paying taxes... you're committing felony tax evasion, unless youre considering when Adam said "It's not a business, fuckface," Please, to help solve the problem of No one asks questions anymore tell me which good point you were referring to. |

Everyone else just told me how much trouble I can get in, big whoop. It's no secret I think the government here in the U.S. is full of more **** than when I was talking about the ion engine. That was before my eyes got so bad that I lost my job, but I thought that was ok, I've been paying taxes like a good boy since I started working at 15, and there are programs that use some of that tax money to pay for needed operations that people who cant afford them need. But no, screwed again, they won't help me out. So now I hate the government, and see no reason to pay taxes. I live in a small town where the only way to get the cops to help you is to be female, and the government pulled my chef school funding, even though I was passing everything with 100% (ok 85 for engilsh 102). Don't get me wrong, I love America, it's the people, but I hate the government. I'd move somewhere else if I could. Scotland ?... Oh, ****, the good points. Forgive me I ramble to much. "You need to be keeping receipts for your rent, your supplies, etc...there are also all kinds of benefits that you could get, too, for having your own business at home, so it might actually HELP you with your taxes if you have another job, for instance, since it is in your home, then you could potentially write off part of your rent, you could definitely come out ahead by claiming 44.5 cents per mile for mileage to go buy supplies...you can potentially write off part of your utilities, too. Also, if you need to buy a new, say, desk, for office records, or for a workstation, then you can write all of that off, so that in the end, your company might not even make any money for the first few years." Gas has been a problem for going to out of state functions, and I really need lots of supply's, like that metal band saw, and the anodizer for the titanium, and the powder coating setup, not to mention the 500 ft. of wire I go through every week, more than 1000ft when I get the saw. |

There's nothing I can do about my eyes though but try and find doctors that will do the operation without any money down... Lol, I've had more orders for that than anything else. I cant find stainless steel wire locally, and I don't buy online, so I haven't made any yet. Anyway, I'll be gone the rest of the week. House sitting for a friend. Me sitting around the house for a week by myself... Sitting around the house..he...he......ok, that sucked. |
