I honestly like them both, but Angel has the biggest advantage and he has healing blood. if cyclops wanted to win, he would have to focus on his target be4 firing, by then Angel could have already taken him out. Cyclops, being the wimp he is, wouldn't want to hurt ol' Wingman because he's Cyclops. "Oh no, I can't use my powers against my friends!" Cyclops is cool, but he's the leader. Even if Cyclops shot at him, Angel has wings, so he'd be flying all over the place. His wings have super human strength in them, and he has incredible endurance. Cyclops would be worn out before Angel. And, on an ending note: If they weren't fighting in the Danger room, Angel would be Death, and everyone has to agree with me that Death would totally kick Cyclops' wussy butt. |

Only I want to say that for the x men 4 movie or Magnetos movie, I hope that they put the scarlet witch playing a roll. And already I chose the suitable person for it... Bearing in mind or focusing on the characters who adapted them not as the ancient version of the cartoons or comics, but they looks like the new cartoons of X MEN EVOLUTION (about their looks, powers, etc.)... of there that extracts the idea of the SCARLET WITCH(x men evolutions version) and the interpreter CAN BE..... PINK(just like a pill video), because she is similar... mmm is very, but very, very exactly...Her style between rocker-girl and gótic/dark that make them very similar... The movie drifted very far from the cartoon storyline but this is to prevent people like me who know the storyline, from predicting what happens. Its very nice n all i'll say he dies in the movie... but then the thread is about who would win in a duel, between cyclops n angel. Not, who would win in a duel, if cyclops is dead. i also forgot to mention that angel's body is fully adapted to flight, which means he has very good eye sight n his body is physically built to help him fly, his bone structure n all. But in saying that, how can you survive something that can act as like a bomb, in the form of a rail gun? (as in he can blow through walls at the speed of a bullet) oh and someone posted something about dropping cyclops from a super high distance or something??? , cmon dude.. wat r u thinking lol, the closer u get the more easier it is to hit u lol, not to mention he also has training in close quarter combat, but lets just take this into consideration, say he drops cyclops from, i dont know.. the highest possible point angel can carry him... Cyclops in his super form could just fire at the ground and that'll help him fall safely |

Angel Cyclops has had many more years as a team leader, fighting and honing his skills, while Angel has been keeping his powers mostly secret, not being able to utilize them. Sure he knows how to fly, but nothing special. Now had it been Archangel or Angel from the Age of Apocalypse, he would definitely have a fighting chance, then we would just have to let it play out to see who wins. |

Most people like Cyclops better though, and he has pretty much already one this voting round. Archangel would kill Cyclops though... ~Ash |

| Posted By: deathstrykah Posted On: Jun 6, 2006 Views: 1552 | cyclops vs angel well comic version, movie or cartoon version, angel is a wimp, when he was archangel he lost to the xmen team, now lets see here , if we take statistics on what each one can do .. lets see here its angel vs cyclops so we'll be doing comparisons on these characters n their super counterparts. angel personality - wants peace n doesn't like his mutant powers, feels neglected. mutant ability - can fly - (has little healing capabilities) [comic version] - Super Form Archangel - capable of the above - n firing multiple missiles maximum of 3 per wing. Attack speed 3.0 seconds very small missiles equal power to a sidewinder each one. However.. the missiles themselves are easy to destroy with minimal explosive area of effect damage n slows his movement down to almost a complete stop unless dodging something in which he is very slow to move. personality - loyal subject to his master apocalypse. Cyclops personality - leader of the xmen, confident mutant ability - capable of emitting optical laser beams from his eyes Super Form (no name for it) mutant ability - full control over his mutant ability amplified by 5 the super form cyclops takes is in one of the cartoon episodes where he is lead by magneto n his brother to enter a chamber where it amplifies his mutant abilities (which eventually dissimates bk to his normal capabilities). ok now that the abilities have been sorted out, you have angel/archangel who i'd call to be passive, as opposed to cyclops who is well, i'd say aggressive. angel can fly, woo !!!! n heal a lil cyclops can shoot devastating optical beams from far away archangel, can fire several small missiles at a standstill point. cyclops normal beams can cancel it shoot right through it, as even in the game, he can cancel some range special attacks. cyclops super form ???? daymn gg archangel, you just been blown out of the sky high , aggressive attacker wit explosive attack power at full control. no chance. so to end this debate about who would win, cyclops will definitly win this fight. |
