I was actually expecting to see our him at the CTO cherring my collegues on. Well, maybe he is not too sure about UNILAG being the best University in Nigeria. Hmmm, on second thoughts, maybe there was a lot of traffic.

The Lecturers are probably busy chasing consultancy jobs on the streets of Lagos. Moral Uprightness, Dress Culture, Naaaahhhh, you may have to look elsewhere. Best in What ? I still feel inclined to ask. Oh yes, I remember. It appears to be the first University to have a group of it's students get together to form an on-line company, IVEN, the owners of unilagfaces.com. Such is the potential of the company, till the legendary Jim Ovia, the CEO of the Nigerian Zenith Bank, was compelled to publicly identify with these group of students at the last US Embassy organised CTO (Computer and Telecommunications) exhibition. Yes. On this basis and this alone, I adjudge UNILAG the "best" university in the whole wide world.

I definitely feel that UNILAG is not the best becaause compared to other schools, our school has a very poor conducive environment and it just happens to be not even in the 6ooo universities in the world. That is pathetic for a school such as UNILAG. I don't like saying this school is better than this school but obviously, there are a lot of good things about UNILAG Pearl, and the only thing I can think of is... UNILAGfaces.com. lol hahaha.

This is not a fallacy or a cliche, it was the NUC rating for 2005. Now, concerning Convenant University, the school is just ok, why all the hype? The issue about UNILAG not being in the first 6000 universities in the world just goes to butress the fact that 'Rome was not built in a day'. The University is 2 years younger than the country and as time elapses UNILAG will become a force to reckon with in the world, especially with the help of UNILAGFACES.COM.

Pearl says covenant is babyish. I object. They have evrything Unilag doesn't and with time they'll introduce Phones and what not. Right now they are trying to set a standard and I don't think there is any thing wrong with that.

Convenant, though kinda babyish, has a great and conndusive reading enviroment. They do all they can to involve themselves with their students. I think thats a huge plus for them

The truth is that most of them in covenant will leave the country when they graduate and find out that what they thought life was in the university is not what it really is. this will contribute to the brain drain that we are currently experiencing in Nigeria.
