RE: bad kids?

I agree, I hate it when parents don't claim responsibility

RE: bad kids?

I've met parents who have an over achieving honor student and a delinquent drug addicted dropout. they were brought up the same way. one kid is bad. simple.

RE: bad kids?

you're equating psychological health with success... that's about as dumb as it gets, maybe you should have a little talk with your parents

It sounds kind of like the song from Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory!

Veruka sure was a naughty child!

RE: RE: bad kids?

We all have different types of brains. Some brains have more or less of certain chemicals or connective tissues that can make a kid turn out as a liar or theif or just normal. Discovery Health channel, y'all.

It's not always the parent, but they definately play a role in the childs turnout.

RE: RE: bad kids?

well the guy back up there about the honor student and the high school drop out: which one did the parents pay more attention to? obviously the better behaved one. so the honor student gets more attention and love compared to the high school drop out because it most likely started out w/ a domino effect. one good thing fallowed by another and another etc. to where the kid was loved more by the parents and the "bad" kid was blocked out by the parents who were endorsing the other kid. he had to grow up on his own, thus he did what he thought would be best for him. and as a kid i am not as wise as adults, and the drop out kid thought that since he wasnt doing good in school, even if he did come back up, the honor student has already acheived a higher rank that wont be overtaken. i am a kid and i know that drop outs are horrible, but theres always a psycology behind it. i have never met someone that said "im dropping out because its hard/ boring" they always have something else that makes them think that no one will care if he does. so why should the parents care if he drops out? raised the same way, but the parents payed more attention to one kid which made the other "bad" so it still goes to parenting
