Some people think they're gross. Others will have no idea what I'm talking about, because you can only get them in certain parts of the country. Does anybody remember Wetson's Hamburgers? |

As they used to say, "Buy 'em by the sack!" A "sack" is a bag of 10 burgers. Great for munching out late at night. I stopped at a White Castle late one night, for old-times sake, and ordered ONE cheeseburger. The lady repeated "ONE" several times, like nobody had ever ordered only ONE burger before. It was good! But not as good as 10! |

It is at that time they change the name on these and call them "Sliders". Yes, just dump the box into the toilet because that is what is going to happen anyway. I won't let people eat sliders in my car because it will stink the interior up for a month and I sure wouldn't feed one to an animal. |

I think it was 39 cents for a burger, 49 cents for a cheeseburger. Or basically 50% - 60% of what a McDonald's burger cost, but again, they're considerably smaller. Hard to describe the experience if you haven't actually been in a White Castle. Quite a while ago Todd posted stills from a Beastie Boys video that he did a cameo in, shot in a White Castle somewhere in Jersey, I think. Maybe it's still on the site (try What's Happening). I'd be interested to hear his thoughts on White Castle. |

I've only had them once and thought they were ok but you could make a better one at home. A couple of girls from the tv board were here a few weeks ago and I took them to Cheesburger in Paradise. The burgers were pretty darned good but the bill for 3 burgers and 6 drinks was $75. OUCH! |
