I pick October over September for this reason...September is good, but in collegiate ball, you have to endure the first part of the season playing non-conference games, and the weather can be a little warm...October is the best because the weather is great, and you are starting to play conference games plus homecoming is usually in October...by November, it is getting a little chilly, and sometimes it isn't so fun freezing your butt off at a football game. |

Collegiate football is so much fun on a lot of levels, but you have to have a passion for a certain team, like, for instance, I would probably be kind of bored if I attended a Washington vs. Oregon game, because I don't really care about either team and neither team is in my team's conference...I would love to watch Texas spank Oklahoma, even though neither of those are my teams because I love Oklahoma State...unfortunately all I got to see was OSU get spanked by Texas live and OU spank us on television! Then there is the whole fun aspect, plus the social aspect. |
