| Posted By: Tony Posted On: Jul 7, 2006 Views: 1330 | Harry Potter books. I voted that they are everyone books, mostly because my option wasn't available. The best and worst thing about the series is that JK Rowling was not a very good writer on the first book. There is no characterization, a silly plot, and creativity that rivals that of only George Lucas (no, that isn't a compliment). The thing is, though, that the writing improves, the stories get better, the characters grow and gain more than one dimension. I think they are everyone books, but should be used to show how bad writing can be and how one can improve as they keep writing. Tony |
| Posted By: Florida Zack Posted On: Jul 7, 2006 Views: 1324 | Harry Potter I certainly feel that Harry Potter is good for all ages. I am enjoying the books mostly because things mentioned in earlier books are linked to later events. I have kids who love the books and my mother reads them too. Florida Zack |
