Posted By: Deathchocobo Posted On: Sep 6, 2006 Views: 2700 | "Eeeee!" Have you considered making a fangirl/boy t-shirt where the front says "Eeeee!" and the back has the fanboy/girl flying by? That was possibly my most favorite part in the fangirl SL |
Posted By: Luiniliel Posted On: Aug 13, 2006 Views: 2854 | ooh~! i looked at your store [four days ago, so i don't know if you updated..] i've seen those fangirl/fanboy t's everywhere. but, a t-shirt with the whole anatomy of a chibi fangirl/boy would be uber-cute, and yes! not copyrighted by someone else. |
Posted By: Syphon Posted On: Aug 12, 2006 Views: 1743 | Possible idea Would "This is how I flossmy teeth" and a picture of a fangirl/fanboy flossing like walter be considered violating trademark? |
Posted By: Erin the Integra Fangirl Posted On: Aug 10, 2006 Views: 860 | To Luiniliel again Now you've gone too far in the opposite direction ^_^ I can't sell Hellsing stuff, but that doesn't mean I can't sell any Shine stuff at all. If it's fangirl-related, or Dracula-related, there are no copyrights to be violated. And if it's related to a punch line I wrote or a character I created, it's fair game. |
Posted By: Luiniliel Posted On: Aug 9, 2006 Views: 852 | too true... [after rethinking] ... in all honesty... i would just avoid entirely trying to sell merchandise of the fancomic because it seems that no matter what the issue of copyright will always come up... but maybe you could do something with the fangirls/boys... they are more or less your intellectual property... sorta... |
Posted By: Erin the Integra Fangirl Posted On: Aug 9, 2006 Views: 833 | To Luiniliel The reason that drawing chibi-characters would be wrong, even with a disclaimer, is because I'd be selling it. It's one thing to do free comics about the licensed characters, with a disclaimer. But when I start making a profit off of things that aren't mine, it becomes illegal. (Amanda: Hi! Hurry up and upload your photos ^^) |
Posted By: Amanda Posted On: Aug 9, 2006 Views: 812 | Yay! Yay! a "Good Doggie" shirt has made it to the store. As soon as i get paid one will become mine. I'm such a happy stalker... erm i mean good fan of course. |
Posted By: Luiniliel Posted On: Aug 8, 2006 Views: 795 | idea~! [confused as to how this thing works..] i think a t-shirt with all the characters all chibi-fied and that clearly says the name of the fancomic would be alright... as long as you add a disclaimer somewhere. |
Posted By: Erin the Integra Fangirl Posted On: Aug 8, 2006 Views: 806 | My Integra T-shirt I think the shirt you're talking about was made by taking an image of the RUINS cover and ironing it onto a plain T-shirt. Not necessarily official. There's a kiosk at my local mall that does iron-ons with whatever images you bring; see if you can find something like that nearby. |
Posted By: Sir Catherine Posted On: Aug 8, 2006 Views: 794 | why no interest for me I'd rather find official Hellsing merchanidse with Sir Integra on it (ie that T-shirt a fan sent you Erin that has been 100% impossible for me to find). |
Posted By: Erin the Integra Fangirl Posted On: Aug 8, 2006 Views: 777 | Merchandise If there's anything Shine-related that you'd like to see on a T-shirt (or a mousepad, a coffee cup, a baseball cap, a hoodie, another kind of shirt, etcetera, etcetera), let me know. This should go without saying, but let me be perfectly clear: Nothing under copyright. No Hellsing characters' names or likenesses, for example. Just don't even ask. But anything that's by me - punch lines, original characters, etcetera - is fair game. Ideas are welcome. |
