Birkenstock

If you are looking for comfortable, easy shoes, I think you should just invest in a pair of birkenstocks. They are wonderful clogs that can last for quite a while. I also have the whole 'no arch' problem, but I bought these anyway, and after the first couple of uncomforable weeks (they pretty much mold to your feet, but they suck to start out with) I wouldn't give my birks up for anything. And if you didn't feel like spending that much money, you could always go for some Betulas (cheaper version made by Birkenstock. My friend has a pair of those and she seems fine with them). Anyway, just an option that doesn't involve neon green shoes that make you look like a total poser. Have a good one!

RE: Birkenstock

I totally agree... I have birkenstocks and I have foot problems (I have flat feet if I don't have support and they hurt like a mofo). Birkenstocks are expensive... but if you wanta get around the cost, go buy them on ebay. Just go find out what size you wear from a birkenstock store pretending to buy 'em and then just go online and stuff. I've done it... saved me lots of mula and time.

I've had one pair of birkenstock sandals for over 2 years now. There almost chewed up finally after this being its third summer (and wearing them year round), but they are the best sandal brand I've ever had. I do not suggest wearing them during the winter unless you get some that are approved for wet weather (like swimming sandals). I ruined mine because of wearing my leather ones during wet weather.

My boyfriend has the same problem as you, and as the first post says, it'll hurt for a few weeks if you have major flat feet. Once its broken in, your feet will be very happy campers!

Good luck!!!!
