| Posted By: Godwin Norbert Posted On: Oct 9, 2006 Views: 824 | AKS an ICT State No one in this forum has commented on the issue posted by the Webmaster; our view on Akwa Ibom State as the No1 ICT State in Nigeria, but Obong Attah's presidential bid. I am very strong vanguard of this project, but I will at this point draw the attention of forumite to the Issue at hand, Akwa Ibom the ICT State! When people were criticising Attahs government on implementation of Elephant project, I tried to be objective, placing myself at the standpoint of the Governor, which I noticed was very strategic, then I was able to understand where he was heading to. He has a more complete picture of what Akwa Ibom should be like and should be noted for. ICT is it. So wherever I am, I boast of what we stand for, TECHNOLOGY. That is another name for Akwa Ibom. This will make no sense to anyone who is yet to visit the science park, or will understand the idea behind the proposed University of Technology, the investment in the erstwhile Econet and so on. My fear then was that these projects may not be fully implemented, but the situation at hand shows that before May 29 2009 the complete picture of Akwa Ibom and what Akwa Ibom man would be seen by all. My prayer therefore is that successive government should consolidate on them. So help me God! So let us open our eye to vote for a technology freak Governor, if non is found, Vote for Me! |
