| Posted By: aggie football team Posted On: Aug 22, 2008 Views: 2113 | TRU AGGIE although we have won 2 meac championships since the 99 season. what has happen to the talent level. we continue to go after high profile coaches but these coaches arent producing wins. Why doesnt the university hire former players that symbolizes the true meaning of BLUE DEATH.....The Sammie Rogers, Daryl Klu, Marco McGee, Robert Williams, Mo Smith, Maurice Hicks and so on......those are people that you see on campus or on the field has a true passion for this game. Although coach Bill Hayes was fire, his approach to the game or his style of play worked. Can we at least get people that were part of that era on the coaching staff to regain our winning ways. THanks |
| Posted By: TAS Posted On: Apr 14, 2008 Views: 2350 | Spring Game I was at the spring game I was pretty impressed with the talent that Fobbs has this year. Mostly that defense front 4. Keep your eye on that D-end he's going places. |
| Posted By: 2008 Is The Year Posted On: Apr 14, 2008 Views: 2205 | winning season We got some new talent on both sides of the ball this year and the vets are hungry. "we will jave a winning season this year. Keep you eye on #51 he's a dog as well as #'s 92 and 94. "Go Aggies" The #8 as in 2008 means a new begining in the Bible so get ready for a winning season, |
| Posted By: Nasty African Posted On: Dec 6, 2007 Views: 1178 | New Coach It is obvious that some people do not realize what happened before Fobbs came to A&T. You have to understand that not only was he not playing with his players but over half of the starters were walk ons or individuals who were not on scholarship. I do agree that he should hire a qualified offensive coordinator. You must understand in the beginning this is how he was able to make 170,000 per year because he did not hire a coordinator. |
| Posted By: Roscoe Von Erich Posted On: Jul 5, 2007 Views: 1528 | Fobbs Fobbs' is a nice guy thats in over his head right now. If he just get some beef in the trenches and get a offensive coordinator so he can concentrate on being head coach he will do fine. But he's gonna have to do those things to win because he can't do it by himself and he'll only burn himself out trying. |
| Posted By: Mike Posted On: Jun 26, 2007 Views: 1569 | New Coach you say!!! I am from New Orleans. Some people said the same thing about Sean Payton. The New Orleans Saint have a winning team. Give Coach Fobbs a chance to win with HIS players. You can't expect him to win with player that he did not recruit. Now he has a few of his players, that should mean a few more wins. Let's give him a chance. Sean Payton was on nobody's list of up and coming young coaches. Now look at him! |
| Posted By: Mr. Tell it right Posted On: Feb 26, 2007 Views: 1593 | sad too say I know we all want things to change , but the way i see it is things are going to be a lot like they where last year. we don't have a proven coach on the whole staff that knows how to win. Fobbs is just not the man for the job true he has been a coach for many years but he has only been a position coach for 30+ years. Agiies lets be true to ourselves about this i have AGGIE Pride true and through but this is the truth. |
| Posted By: how will AGGIES do in 2007 Posted On: Feb 6, 2007 Views: 1173 | it's been a LONG TIME... As someone else said earlier...recruiting BETTER players on the OL and DL holds the KEY to 4-5 WINS in'07;early wins HOLDS the KEY to ATTENDANCE "picking back up",after the UNDERSTANDABLE drop off in '06. |
| Posted By: Maxell Posted On: Feb 1, 2007 Views: 1189 | A year away. It will depend on the trenches(OL and DL) which is at least a year away. 2008 |
| Posted By: True Believer Posted On: Jan 15, 2007 Views: 1096 | 2007 is our year!!! I believe Fobbs will win at least five games in 2007. He is the right man for the job. |
