| Posted By: Cleglaw Posted On: Sep 30, 2006 Views: 509 | Islam, obviously I'm a christian, and if I had to choose a religion to convert to I'd have to choose islam because if you look closely enough you find that it's practically the same religion just with different traditions. Most christians consider judaism and christianity to be two religions under one god, but islam came from the same prophets, same ideals, and obviously the same region of the world, so "allah" is another interpritation of the same god. If you look at the hundreds of "pagan" religions originating in northern and northeast Europe, you'll notice that they're all basically the same. If an outsider examined judaism, christianity, and islam very closely, I'd bet that they would be dismissed as simmilar. For some reason islam is singled out as the most different, but it really isn't, none of them is more or less different than the other in my opinion. |
