I listened to the interview Urji granted recently where he said that Babangida is a man of the youth who wants them to get rich. Get rich through crooked means? How many nigerian you are living in penury while the socalled men of the people live to oppress. May God forgive them. They should not use third term to cover their evils, if they have any evidence against obj they should go to court. I am not defending anybody, as a matter of fact, I am a living victim of our leaders wickedness. But lets call a spade a spade. If some people feel that it was because of their so called selfish stand against 3rd term that is hunting them they are gig liars who are trying to hide the evils they perpetrated in office. I want to ask, did Ghenga Daniel stand against or for 3rd term? With all his socalled achiements, he is still under the watch light of EFCC. THE WORLD IS LAUGHING NIGERIA! I watched Odilis, where he has included the gas turbine project as one of his achievements. I am aware, just like anyone who has visited Port Harcourt that the said gas turbine never worked for one day, since after the President came to Rivers State for the commissioning. The EFCC should banish anyone who is using such gimmicks to deceive the people. Nigerians believe that they can not be deceived any more. It is really funny the way these projects are being used in deceiving Nigerians. Rivers State is ruled out of privation and governed improvidently. Some parts of Port Harcourt have not seen electricity for the past six months; my area inclusive. Falsehood and deceit is part of fraud and EFCC should live up to its responsibilities. Be on the watch therefore! Abia State is no different. We should stop ourselves from being deceived. |
| Posted By: Dan Posted On: Oct 20, 2006 Views: 1606 | The Sosoliso Plane Crash Report It is amazing that that aircraft operating companies hire pilots with limited experience to take charge of their operations.Most of the pilots risk the lives of their passengers by landing when visibility is poor to save energy(fuel) due to harassment from their employers which is penny wise pound foolish.The airports switch off runway lights to save costs which is ridiculous.The cost of an hour flight is very high in Nigeria due to the high risks involved in flight operations which results to higher insurance premium which is passed to passengers.A situation where a air traffic control tower errs and passes a wrong wind direction to a pilot will definitely lead to a crash if the pilot is trained only with a simulator with no natural wind shear force is disastrous.If airline operators give pilots more freedom to make safer manouvres pilots are given proper training on the aircraft they fly.Control towers are manned by dedicated staff there will be very few accidents which will lower risks and decrease insurance premiums in Nigeria.A flight of 12 hours from London to Ausralia is the same amount to fly six hours to Nigeria due to low risk in operating a flight to Australia.The Federal government should check all factors which will lead to low risks flights. |

I used to beleive in the EFCC but after the Obasanjo - Atiku saga i cant but conclude that EFCC is a joke. Why dont the EFCC arrest Atiku and Obasanjo for illegal transfer of our money abroad or am I to beleive that all the cheques provided by Atiku to the investigation panel written in Th name of Mr President are not true It is high time we opened our eyes and stand up for our rights. I am a politics student so i believe very much in revolution which is the only way to bring Nigeria out of her misery. We need a complete overhaul of our government from the local govt to the federal level because they are all thieves. |
