Enforcer Predictions

Last year I said that my top five enforcers in the NHL are Derek Boogaard, Brian McGrattan, Georges Laraque, Cam Janssen, and Andrew Peters. I was pretty good wit h those five being the top vote-getters in the poll. So who are going to top the hockey fighting charts next year?

Boogaard is always a good bet to be up there. Looking forward to seeing D.J. King...

RE: Enforcer Predictions

1. George Laraque - He is a good fighter but won't give enough guys a shot at him, he is beatable but since he did not loose last year he is number one.

2. Brian McGrattan - Tough, big, strong, smart, all-out fighter. I like this guy a lot. He is steady, he fights a lot, doesn't loose many, and is a rough character his solidity will get him to number two.

3. Derek Boogaard - Too big, too strong, too powerfula puncher, pretty much is just too much. Hopefully he'll stay healthy and fight a little more. Since he ahad trouble finding partners, I will give him number three.

4. Shawn Thornton - He had a great year losing just one fight and took on a wide variety of guys. I'll put him at number four because I think I will only see more from him.

5. Krys Barch - An animal out there. Fought at a lot and fought a bunch of good guys. Did well with the middleweights and I'll think he'll start taking on the heavyweights soon.

I also like Barch. He just needs to polish his style a little and he'll be fine...
