I thought this was a CARVING contest ! ( Oh sure she jabbed a couple of holes in it for doors }Get real people vote for one that at least has a halloween theme ! Ya like I'd be real scared seeing this one on halloween ! Right ! Nightmare at the Craft Show ! |

There's two more sides to this pumpkin that can't be seen in this photos. There's actually more carvings on the side and there's a 4-paned back window with carved pumpkin window shutters & lace curtains as well. I thought photographing my entry from all angles would be a little overkill for this contest as most people just submitted one or two. The parasol (umbrella) can either go up or down and there's two complete sets of X-mas lights, one regular plug-in kind and one battery operated right below when the top of the pumpkin was cut off. Both sets of lights are on but hardly visible due the flash going off. This pumpkin took me at 4 to 5 days to plan and execute the project. There was 3 prior "test pumpkins" made before the one you see here was made to see what would be the best methods to pull this off. I photographed a pumpkin before I ever started on it and brought it in to Photoshop and planned everything out beforehand. There's about 4 pumpkins here that got lovingly carved and planned as well and I'm sure they took a fair amount of effort. I think I put in the most amount of work on this, and while some of these are REALLY GOOD, I feel mine is most creative and took the most time. Opinions are like @ssholes, everybody's got one. |

You can tell the owner spent mega-time and paid great attention to detail. Well carved, looks FLAWLESS. Should have got more votes. #48 - Chewy - A stencil, but very time consuming and well carved! :) #4 "So This Is Love" Again, a stencil but wow! That one took some time and skill!! Kudos. #23 - Witch Fingers - This one is a riot! I'll have to remember this one! LOL! Like my Cinderella Pumpkin, not much actual carving, but CLEVER as all get-out. |

Do you really think that his first post here wasn't really a personal attack? It was Person1. Was that really the best way to express his dislike for my contest entry? Do you? It was nasty, hurtful, and designed to bring me down in some way. It was THE nastiest and most disrespecful post regarding these contest entries yet. Now, go read his original topic yet and let me know if that was the best way for him to tell everyone he doesn't like my pumpkin. I will wait for your answer. |
