| Posted By: Joann Posted On: Nov 18, 2006 Views: 5266 | "Stop throwing the Constitution in my face" What President Bush thinks of the Constitution, so is that why he isn't upholding his oath, to stop the invasion? The article follows the reference links. http://www.capitolhillblue.com/artman/publish/article_7779.shtml and another site: http://www.thenewamerican.com/artman/publish/article_2932.shtml The Rant Bush on the Constitution: "Just a goddamned piece of paper" By DOUG THOMPSON Dec 9, 2005, 06:39 Email this article Printer friendly page Last month, Republican Congressional leaders filed into the Oval Office to meet with President George W. Bush and talk about renewing the controversial USA Patriot Act. Several provisions of the act, passed in the shell shocked period immediately following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, caused enough anger that liberal groups like the American Civil Liberties Union had joined forces with prominent conservatives like Phyllis Schlafly and Bob Barr to oppose renewal. GOP leaders told Bush that his hardcore push to renew the more onerous provisions of the act could further alienate conservatives still mad at the President from his botched attempt to nominate White House Counsel Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court. "I don't give a goddamn," Bush retorted. "I'm the President and the Commander-in-Chief. Do it my way." "Mr. President," one aide in the meeting said. "There is a valid case that the provisions in this law undermine the Constitution." "Stop throwing the Constitution in my face," Bush screamed back. "It's just a goddamned piece of paper!" I've heard from two White House sources who claim they heard from others present in the meeting that the President of the United States called the Constitution "a goddamned piece of paper." The record shows the Bush Administration, the Constitution of the United States is little more than toilet paper stained from all the **** that this group of power-mad despots have dumped on the freedoms that "goddamned piece of paper" used to guarantee. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, while still White House counsel, wrote that the "Constitution is an outdated document." Put aside, for a moment, political affiliation or personal beliefs. It doesn't matter if you are a Democratic, Republican or Independent. It doesn't matter if you support the invasion or Iraq or not. Despite our differences, the Constitution has stood for two centuries as the defining document of our government, the final source to determine - in the end - if something is legal or right. Every federal official - including the President - who takes an oath of office swears to "uphold and defend" the Constitution of the United States. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia says he cringes when someone calls the Constitution a "living document." ""Oh, how I hate the phrase we have-a 'living document,'" Scalia says. "We now have a Constitution that means whatever we want it to mean. The Constitution is not a living organism, for Pete's sake." As a judge, Scalia says, "I don't have to prove that it's perfect; I just have to prove that it's better than anything else." President Bush has proposed seven amendments to the Constitution over the last five years - a record for any modern President, including a controversial amendment to define marriage as a "union between a man and woman." Members of Congress have proposed some 11,000 amendments over the last decade, ranging from repeal of the right to bear arms to a Constitutional ban on abortion. Scalia says the danger of tinkering with the Constitution comes from a loss of rights. "We can take away rights just as we can grant new ones," Scalia warns. "Don't think that it's a one-way street." And don't buy the White House hype that the USA Patriot Act is a necessary tool to fight terrorism. It is a dangerous law that infringes on the rights of every American citizen and, as one brave aide told President Bush, something that undermines the Constitution of the United States. But why should Bush care? After all, the Constitution is just "a goddamned piece of paper." |

| Posted By: Alex Landi Posted On: Nov 16, 2006 Views: 2366 | Guest workers Why has Pres. Bush defined "guest workers" as trespassers waiting to be amnestied? He leaves us no choice but to say "No" to guest workers. That isn't the answer either. The answer is a real guest worker program of pre-checked, temporary workers (six months) who have to return home to get the bulk of their pay. Their families remain in Mexico where the pay goes a lot farther. The program would be for Mexicans only, men only (for obvious reasons) and for agriculture only. Send the illegal immigrants here now home. Give them six months. Tell them that at the deadline, the sweeps will begin. Anyone caught here will be taken into custody, IDd, put in a database, and then deported. They would forever be disqualified from returning as guest workers or legal immigrants. Most would self-deport. We go after the rest as well as the employers. This can work. The growers get workers, and we get to keep America. Let's make it happen! |
| Posted By: KLM Posted On: Nov 16, 2006 Views: 2383 | Mexican invaders We all know why they are coming here and what they are actually doing, WHY CAN'T WE STOP THIS? WHY are Americans being held 'hostage' to this invasion of our country? Well, of course, we know it's the CFR and American Union globalists who are out to destroy America. but WHY are we allowing it to continue? Most everyone sees what's happenning, you can't NOT see it. The Mexican roaches have infiltrated every nook and cranny of our country. It's way past time to get the RAID out and squash this invasion of Mexican roaches. I have no respect in anyway whatsoever for these people invading our country. They maliciously, illegally invade our country, hide in the shadows and run when the light of immigration agents is shown on them, ROACHES. There has to be a way for Americans to win this war! |
| Posted By: RW Posted On: Nov 16, 2006 Views: 2406 | Mexico just won't quit Their starting to use the Statue of Liberty as a tool to make America look bad for stopping people who are openly rejecting america and it's nationality. How stupid is this "Mexican" movement and their alias? And how stupid are we to just keep on listening to this crap mexican propaganda? We need to stop listening and just start "doing". |
| Posted By: MJB IN PHOENIX Posted On: Nov 14, 2006 Views: 2427 | Treatment of the men and women in the BP Border Patrol Agents are the pawns of the Senior Management. Guys like Aquilar and Chertoff and the AG - Gonzales, are about as concerned with the safety and well-being of their Agents on the ground as they are about the Citizens of America. The recent complaints by the Mexican Congress and the Mexican Government re BP entering into Mexico during the atempted apprehension of drug smugglers are nothing more than the usual whine and cry. The reason they complained is that they won't be getting their payoff from the Cartel, and that means from the President of Mexico right down to the bottom of the cesspool. The fact that the bosses in the BP take such drastic actions against our own, makes one wonder just how much "encouragement" they might be receiving from the "friendly neighbors" just to the South of us. If we are going to win this battle and eventually this war - then we have got to think bigger than the GS-15 in DC, we have got to consider that perhaps some, if not many of our own elected officials might be on the Drug Cartels "bribe" list - or at least on the donors list of a number of high ranking Mexican Officials. When they get together, they all seem just a little bit too cozy - to suit me. Border Governors and a few further north seem to be making quite a lot of trips to Mexico City, rather than to DC. You've got to think out loud and ask where their constituent base really is.? |
| Posted By: jim Posted On: Nov 14, 2006 Views: 2457 | illigal criminal aliens This govt. is both blind and deaf to the wishes of the American citizen and with the Dems.in control I can see AMNISTY beeing shoved down our throats as fast as the new congress is seated. I am not into conspirosy, but I think JORGE WOLFRADO BUSH has done all he can to make things as bad as posible to alow for a democrate take-over that would insure his amnisty and worker program would pass keeping him in good standings with his mexican friends. I see the anger on both sides of this sorry isue and I honestly feel if the borders are not closed and illigals are not deported that the streets will run red! |
| Posted By: CP Posted On: Nov 13, 2006 Views: 2543 | Stop Amnesty "But when does the fight begin." When enough of us are willing to do what is necessary. When we are willing to risk everything to stand up for America! Make no mistake if there aren't at least a certain portion of us willing to do that. Then they can push hard enough to shut us down. |

| Posted By: MS. Posted On: Nov 12, 2006 Views: 2473 | Stop Amnesty We all have to stop amnesty now since Bush and the Dems are in agreement. They are sure to pass an amnesty thinking that we will forget about it by the next election. We all have to shout with one voice - NO AMNESTY. We have to hound both the Dems and Republicans as much as possible. We have to notify our side (Tancredo, Sessenbrenner etc) to do what ever they can to pre-empt an amnesty. Perhaps they can prepare a measure to be brought to the Supreme Court in case amnesty is passed. We cannot accept amnesty under any condition. There must be legal ways to stop this whether in the congress or the Supreme Court. Never say die. The left never gives up, neither should we. One possible objection to stopping amnesty, may be that amnesty would be tantamount to annexing another nation since there are so many illegals here. Another objection could be that it would be illegal to pass an amnesty since no one knows the full extent of the illegal population, therefore we cannot fully foretell the effects on the country. |
| Posted By: Obbop Posted On: Nov 11, 2006 Views: 2497 | The end is near As a veteran I love the USA but despise the elite-owned federal government. I sincerely believe the greatest threat to our freedom is the federal government, the elites that have usurped what the founders created, corporate Amerika whose wants and desires influence the elites and wealthy/powerful special interest groups. Foreign terrorists are a minor threat compared to the enemy within. Voting changes nothing. I believe it is time for insurrection. We need our troops brought back home to fight the enemy within. Continue on as we have and I believe the invaders will permanently alter the USA and send the majority of American citizens plumetting down to a 2nd- or possibly 3rd-world lifestyle. It is not the end, yet but.... it IS the beginning of the end. Perhaps a military coup would save us. Maybe a mass rebellion. The odds of either happening are remote. Thus, enjoy the end days, citizens, for very rough times lay ahead. Comprende muchachos? The barbarians are here and keep flooding in. Embrace the new culture that will predominate. |
