Posted By: impersonator Posted On: Nov 15, 2006 Views: 638 | Republicans... all joking aside, I would like to know what you really stand for. What do you as republicans try to accomplish, what is the "big picture" for the republican party? I have not delved much into the republican beliefs because they just seem so black and white to me. ALMOST every republican I have met so far seems to be the same, of the same mold, such black and white close minded people. I am not designated to any party as of yet, but I would like to hear what some of you have to say to support the beliefs of the republican party. |

Posted By: Yeti Posted On: Nov 15, 2006 Views: 634 | RE: Republicans... They're basically full of shit, convincing the general American public with easy-to-understand concepts like "freedom", "cut & run", and "flip-flop". The reason people say they don't understand what the Democrats stand for is because they are too stupid to understand issues that are slightly more complex. |
Posted By: Posted On: Nov 15, 2006 Views: 630 | RE: Republicans... Anyone that thinks there is actually a difference between the two sides is full of shit. You would have to be a braindead moron to think otherwise. Both sides are filled with millionaires that cater to whatever corporation or special interest fills their campaign coffers. Both sides weight down every bill they can with earmarks. Both sides have members caught in corruption and illegal activity. As long as this mentality of one good party and one enemy party continues, this country will continue on it's downward path. |

Posted By: Right-leaning centrist Posted On: Nov 16, 2006 Views: 609 | RE: Republicans... people who belong strictly to a political party and refuse to deviate from the "party line" are the problem with this country. doesn't matter if they're democrat or republican. people who can't look beyond party lines are the ones causing all the problems. unfortunately, it's the radicals on both sides that make the most noise. maybe you people should stop blaming everything on "the other party" and start electing people based on their individual stance on the real issues instead of whether they have "R" or "D" beside their name. |
Posted By: impersonator Posted On: Nov 16, 2006 Views: 605 | RE: Republicans... Well, I'm guessing that the reason they would have either in the first place, is to make a large gathering of people that share similar beliefs, and to just give a general definition of what they believe, they usually try to use one word to wrap it all up. It's up to US to take a look at the individual and what they believe in. |
