All the best games that used to be Playstation exclusives are now jumping to the Xbox and Nintendo bandwagons, and who can blame them? Sony have alienated their own core target group. Should Bluray not to prove to be the Betamax of the future, I'll rather buy a proper Bluray player. And I won't be paying $300 for it, let alone $600! PS: According the latest industry rumors, MGS 4 is going to appear on X360 as well. It is simply not feasible to publish an expensive-to-produce title to PS3 alone, as a sufficient userbase simply isn't there. |

So far MGS4 is the only game that interests me. The price is insane. I hope it drops down in 2008, or whenever MGS4 is released. I certainly won't be seriously considering a purchase until then. |

While I've in the past purchased every console I've not seen a PS3 exclusive title that excites me at all and with GTA4 coming to 360 I can't see myself purchasing a PS3 at all. They would have to come up with some really amazing exlcusive titles before they see any of my cash, I"m shocked to say this as I own all of Sony's offerings. |

I have tested several PS3 games and they have been about equal (or even inferior) quality to similar Xbox 360 offerings. There is only one game worth even consideration (Resistance) and the immediate future does not look a lot brighter. Why would I pay double, when I can get at least the same amount of gaming value from Xbox 360? Sony execs must be out of their mind. |

In about 2008-, I can hopefully buy a PS3 when it's about the price of an Xbox 360 premium package and by then, Metal Gear Solid 4 will be out and I can get other games like tekken and many others. Also IMAGINE what would happen if a £400 console had a BUG. £400 WASTED, WASTED, WASTED!!!! £400 takes a lot to inherit. I wonder if a Sony fan who had this unforgivable problem permanently defected to Sony or Nintendo. |

Sony's pricing has put a serious damper on any need I may have had to play FFXIII immediately when it comes out, I can wait until the PS3 drops to a reasonable price. |

Resistance also looks awesome but not worth buying a console for. ( I have Gears Of War anyway) Fan Boys will cry and complain, "PS3 Rocks Xbox Sucks! You don't have blue-ray and we have an an HDMI port that can only be used my a small percentage of consumers" Get over it guys. |

The graphics aren't that much better, the exclusives list is shinking, and the price isn't justified. All the fluff features will wear thin in a couple weeks or less, just like the PSP. And it is such an ugly console. It looks like JVC home audio systems. Yuck. We're not the Jetsons, people. Until FFXIII comes out...I really won't care much about it. |
