However i cannot keep on dishing out R 6000+($1000) every 6-12 months in order to upgrade my PC. Rather buy a console and play it for 5 years and then only get a new one. That makes a lot more sense to me. I am very exited about the wii, i really think that it will bring back the one element that has been missing from games for quite a while: Total emersion!! I will not buy a PS3 : too much money and doesnt look as much fun as the wii. Thanks:) |

This thing is way to expensive for my budget, I'm just a student, like the 90% that comes here. Why want sony to push this blueray so much, it looks like the don't care anymore about the real gamers like me, who maybe hardly can buy a ps3 but for sure not a flatpanel that can produce 1080P and for sure I'm not gonna buy a projector. So basicly, I see that sony is gonna lose a lot of their original fanbase where I have the feeling that the developers will see and will not produce exclusives. The best games that come on the ps3 are already out on the Xbox 360, so I might buy myself an Xbox 360 and can end up with way more games in the end, because if 1st party is gonna cost 60 pops and 2 and 3rd party between the 60 and 100 pops I can't even afford a game per 2 - 3 months. So Im sorry to say Sony, you just lost another costumer. |

I'm sure the people I know who desperately want the PS3 will enjoy it very much once they finally manage to get their hands on one in August 2007. That said, I managed to fully pay off a wii, An extra controller, a 1 gig memory stick, and 4 games for around 530 dollars, all after tax. By comparison, A ps3 and 1 game after tax edges into the 700 dollar territory, and that's way more than I'm willing to spend for a system and a single game. |

I think the majority of people are probably buying PS3's to turn around and make a killing on ebay. It's like a no brainer for a fast way to double your money that is sure. I will be purchasing a Wii (long live Nintendo) and eventually purchasing a PS3 when this whole High Def. craze dies down. I mean i dont even have a high definition television so im not even half way there. But from what i read so far a lot of the titles i would want to play might be on 360 which i own so my patience has become stronger. Oh well the system looks great but i have no plastic to slide for it. Right on... |
