With work and trying to keep up with the armor stuff I haven't had much time to come to OddTodd.com Works not to bad, other than the ****ty pay. Everybody works well together, I've already been given a 50 cent raise (still a ****ty $5.60...), moved to closing shift and they are having me do inventory and stuff. It kinda makes me feel bad that I'll be quiting in January to move to Charleston (yes that's right, I'm finally getting out of this **** hole and moving out of town) it's just to get my car going again and pay up a few months ahead on my insurance. My back isn't any better, but I've still got a few days of Darvasets. It doesn't help the pain, but makes me not really give a ****, lol. |

Make that $5.70 now, :-P Apparently I'm a good worker...from $5.15 - %5.70 in one month...I hope I keep getting those raises like that for the next year I'm there... Yeah, as I said the pay is ****ty (oh so ****ty...), but it's so low I don't have to pay taxes. I'll get them all back in February, which will go into a savings account or something. I now just get a little over $130 a week, and all that goes to my car, and insurance is only $98 bucks a month, gas costs me more than that, everything else is paid for, lol. I'm paying about 22% of my paychecks now for taxes. You know what though? Your taxes paid for my eyes to be fixed, and in January it will pay for my last year at school and room and board for a year. So anyway, I'm fine making a paltry amount while at this temporary job, if you cant beat the way things work, use it to your advantage, lol. |
