If English were that person's second language then they are probably illiterate in two languages. There is a big difference in the writing of someone that does not speak English as a first language and someone that can't write in any language. Dyslexia does not make you spell retarded with two T's. That is not an excuse. |

It's about making a post that is supposed to spark some type of debate in an intelligent fashion. If you're going to call someone an idiot, or as Mr. Freehold put it, "idoit", then you should be able to spell or at least spellcheck. If you're dyslexic or English isn't your standard language you are the very last person to call someone an idiot or retarded. Our president, bless his poor twisted heart, has a learning disorder very similar to dyslexia. I took 3 semesters of Spanish in college. I got an A, not because I'm fluent in Spanish, but because everytime I had to write something I checked and double checked to make sure it was written correctly. Lastly, Bruce Springsteen, whom I love dearly was born in Freehold, NJ. Stop telling people you are from Freehold, until you learn to make intelligent, coherent debate. So endeth the lesson. |
