Sadie was not less in charm, intelligence and beauty than Jenn. But Jenn was the One. She seemed more mature. I loved the way they looked together in Miami and Sweden. However, while whatching the Season Finale, I had the impression the editors made it all for us to think Lorenzo had a stronger connection with Sadie. I was dissapointed, for I had seen him having a stronger, more mature connection with Jenn in previous episodes. So, at the end, I was astonished -and happy- to see Jenn was the One.

Her virginity and commitment to her husband and family would have been foundational for a dynastic union. However, Sadie is fortunate that she was not selected be-cause the family did not give heirloom jewels from the family vault. It was a nice ring but did not carry generations of family heritage. More seriously, a woman like Sadie deserves a marriage proposal and a romantic wedding not an offer to live in New York City unmarried. To me, it appeared that neither Lorenzo or his family were prepared to meet the standards set by Sadie. One could hardly give an engagement ring to a woman like Sadie without a solid marriage proposal. Yes, Sadie deserves her own show with eligible bachelors competing for her hand in marriage. Sadie is a woman that more women should emulate. Lorenzo took the easy path not the high road. Too bad. She is a fairy princess and can write a legend of accomplishment in the future. She deserves better than a dishonorable prince even if he is a nice ordinary guy.

The Dad, overbearing and intimidating, and Jen nervous, fidgety, closed off, and I could almost see her flip out... wonder what you would have seen the family do if the Bachelor didn't choose her. Perhaps he too was afraid and that's why he picked her. It is not BS that Sadie was a virgin. It is about time SOME GIRL got through the times to stay one for marriage. Paul would have been a very lucky man to have married a virgin. But not just because a virgin, but because the entire package was great. Nice looking, sweet, successful, outgoing, spirited, AND chased (chast?). I think personally the Bachelor/Bachelorette should have Sadie be the next Bachelorette and have men fighting to be her husband next season. She has it all. Sadly, I think this has a bigger effect on the public. Many of us want our daughters to respect the sanctity of marraige and remain virgins till they marry. I was hoping the Bachelor would be a good avenue for my girls to learn that if you kept yourself clean, you may just get a Prince...however, I think this show has ruined that concept now. Girls all over, debating their sexual future will now feel there is no point in abstinence because the slutty girl will always get the guy anyway. I think the other girls were right, Paul was frightened by strong women and wanted a little submissive housewife who kissed his feet and doesn't ever think for herself (unless it is about him). All the stronger women were voted off right away. I think because SAdie was saving herself he did respect her enough to keep her in the running. But in the end, her confidence and independence were just to much for him. Which in my mind now makes him a coward!
