He is the BEST! I could not have come up with better words myself. I wish I had. I too am in love with this man. No other actor, more famous, more Hollywood can get to me emotionally and physically. Just looking at this Hot Scot or listening to his voice makes me weak. Even when he just stands there, he is so sexy. I know for a fact that his is very manly, and only attracted to the ladies. He has consistantly gone out of his way to show his appreciation for his fans, he is warm and friendly with all his coworkers, including the crew, and he is not afraid to laugh at himself. Still as grounded as he was when he got into this insane business, I think Gerard's most indearing quality must be his sense of humor. The man can tell a funny story like no other. He is truely the *whole* package!! |

But when you combine looks, (drool)personality, and intelligence...You have a winning combination! I just love his self depricating sense of humor. He doesn't seem to take himself seriously at all. As far as his acting ability goes, he totally morphs into the character his is playing. If you line up photos of him from each film he has been in, you will see that it is hard to tell it is even the same person in some instances. He is flat out remarkable, and he is THE REAL THING ! And to have a degree in law from Glasgow University. Help me please...I need an attorney ! |

I had no idea who Gerard Butler was. But then I heard him talk, tell his funny story about the capes ("I got a little scrape. It hurt..." - crowd goes wild with laughter!). He teases David about workouts (after David tried to embarass him). He just looked so relaxed and happy, big smile, a trouble-maker but not in a mean way. At some point a fan asks a question and he gets serious and quiet and he looks down at the desk - he's listening intently, very respectful. You have to see that part. That's the part that wrecked me. Could it be possible he's actually a nice guy? It so doesn't fit with what you expect. You expect a big arrogant jerk. That right there is when I became a Gerry fan. I like it when people surprise me by being better than what I expect. I also find his story interesting - how he came into this career, making the point in one interview how what appered to be the worst day of his life actually turned out to be the best. Taking his mom to an awards show - you know that had to close a circle on a lot of things for them. When you are a parent you know how it breaks your heart when your child struggles, and breaks your heart again when he succeeds. Everyone finds that intriguing. Redemption, second chances, perserverance in life in spite of adversity, hard work, pure luck, and the mega-happy ending! It's quite a story. I just like it. |
