There are so many good topics that are declared "dead" so it really limits the topics newbies can post in. It's also never mentioned in the rules section, so people can get banned without even knowing what they did wrong. That happened to me. I got unbanned after some discussion, but the dead topic rule just limits it too much. and that's why I never come to the forums anymore.
