I've been a good dancehall fan from the 80's til now and all i can say is, Buju has been really outstanding, he might not be 'king of dancehall' as some claim they are but he remains the most gifted dancehall and consistent artiste ever. Even when he crossed over to rastafari roots reggae, he never waxed cold instead he got hotter and hotter, even to the point of reggae fans hailing him as the next bob marley. There are others like Bounty, Beenie, Capleton and Sizzla, but Buju stands out. Too bad is a classic dancehall album, gwaan gargamel, no one can stop yuh. |

| Posted By: Billy Martin Posted On: Feb 19, 2008 Views: 685 | BUJU IS REAL HOT I think Dancehall's finest is Buju Banton. I know Beenie, Sean Paul and Bounty are great, i have all their work, but Buju stands out tall. I also like his humility. Also xpecting Rasta got soul. Lest i forget, tracks to watch out for are 'Try offa yuh', 'too bad', 'waistline', 'hey boy', 'til it bend' and the smash hit 'Driva A' |
