Starr Posted On: Apr 5, 2007 Views: 419 | PS My candidates Sheer brilliancy - don't bother to research any other candidates but the one's in your tunnel vision just because you don't like what someone else says about your pick. Just follow the propaganda of Katie Couric or whichever Democrat newscaster you watch. That'll insure that you will be well-informed when you cast your votes for the people who will be trying to control your life. Typical liberal reaction. Put your head in the sand and blindly follow the other lemmings over the cliff. |
| Posted By: Philip W. Starr Posted On: Apr 5, 2007 Views: 441 | My candidates First off, Ms. Peterson, my name is spelled Starr, not Star. Second, Mr. Obama is a far-left liberal. Where's the line between a far-left lib and a communist? As for why I chose my candidates, go to OnTheIssues.com and read for yourself the voting records of Fred Thompson,Ron Paul, and frankly, anybody else you want to find out about. Their voting records and comments on all the issues are there for the reading, Republicans and Democrats alike. As for Michael Savage, I listen to his radio show. He's an indepedent conservative, not a lip-service liberal Republican calling himself a conservative, like Bush and the other front-running Republican candidates. He minces no words in his condemnation of Bush or any other Republicans/alleged conservatives, likewise with socialists/Democrats like Obama, Clinton, and Pelosi (who is affiliated with the Democratic Socialist Party of America). All you libs pay lip service to opposing communism, but are ready to vote them into office at every chance. Karl Marx, one of the founders of communism, openly admitted that conservatism was the protective system. Why would you want to put someone in the presidency who is a liberal who will govern to the far left like Obama or Clinton, in the direction of communism? Have you ever read "The 50 Communist Points of Bringing Down a Free Republic"? It's in the Congressional Record of 1959. Do a search and read the 50 points. You'll find that they all coincide with the politically correct leanings of people like Obama, Pelosi, and other libs of the Democrat party, and many liberal Republicans like Guiliani and Romney. As for mud-slinging, not really. Just statng the facts. I just told you where to look to verify. |
| Posted By: Christa Peterson Posted On: Apr 5, 2007 Views: 409 | PS Obama '08 I would also encourage voters to pay attention to who the candidates are being funded by and who they will owe if they become President. Obama has only called on the American people for support and will only owe them if elected. You cannot dispute that his numbers are even more impressive by only funding his campaign by the people he intends to represent as our President. |
| Posted By: Christa Peterson Posted On: Apr 5, 2007 Views: 319 | Obama '08 Barack Obama has me so hopeful for things to come. He doesn't waste time name calling or speaking only of what he is against, but is offering solutions that are desperately needed in this country. I have never been involved much in the political process before, outside of voting AGAINST the worst of the worst. The '08 election actually has a couple of people who have positive attributes, but Obama is the best fit for what I am looking for in my President. I wish people like Philip W. Star could post what exactly he likes about his candidate stating his case and allowing all of us to understand who they are and what they stand for rather than name calling or pointing fingers. His post has that mud slinging tone that I have just had enough of and now will most likely not even check into anyone he is endorsing. Barack is concerned about the American people: their financial needs, their health needs, and their educational needs. He is concerned about America as a nation: the needs of our economy, the needs of our environment, the needs of our foreign relations, and the needs of our children that are fighting this war. He is not just concerned about these children WHILE they are fighting this war but concerned about their needs physically, mentally, and economically when they return from this war. For more information on where Mr. Obama stands on the issues you can check them out at www.barackobama.com and click on the "Issues" tab at the top of the page. |
| Posted By: John Posted On: Apr 5, 2007 Views: 349 | Ron Paul Ron Paul has officially been added to the site. |
| Posted By: Philip W. Starr Posted On: Apr 5, 2007 Views: 362 | Republican Frauds Where's Rep. Ron Paul on the poll? He would be my first choice, followed by Michael Savage (who HAS reached the 5 million mark - see previous post by other person), followed by Fred Thompson. These guys are true conservatives, not frauds like Guiliani, Romney, and McCain, who are worthless libs like the communists Obama and Clinton. Fred Thompson does have a black mark with his support of incumbent protection reform (i.e.,campaign finance reform). Check their voting records at OnTheIssues.com. Remember this quote from Karl Marx,"...the protective system of our day is conservatism, while the free trade system is destructive...I vote in favor of free trade." Vote true conservative! |
| Posted By: Lisa Graves Posted On: Apr 4, 2007 Views: 604 | Barack Obama in '08 This is the first time I have ever backed someone in a campaign.. Barack speaks for me on all issues!!! I couldn't have dreamed of someone better to represent me and what is important to me than Mr. Obama!!!! |
| Posted By: Julie Shostak Posted On: Apr 4, 2007 Views: 582 | Barack's the One! Barack Obama has the vision and he WILL put it into practice. It's time for our battered country to take this risk. Hillary will stay the course; whatever that is. |
| Posted By: John Posted On: Apr 4, 2007 Views: 584 | Healthcare Mike - Good point on the healthcare subject. My wife's uncle who is in Australia, had to wait almost 4 months for a quadruple bypass, many would have died before the operation with 4 clogged arteries. |
| Posted By: Mike Posted On: Apr 4, 2007 Views: 346 | Hillary Clinton I feel Hillary Clinton would be a bad president. 1)She wants free health care for all. That may sound like a good idea, but if you look into it you'd see that we would become like Canada where anyone goes to the hospital for any reason. And then when someone has a heart attack they would have to wait in line. And we would have to raise taxes to do so. 2)She has flip flopped way too many times on the war in Iraq. 1st she voted foor the war and when we captured saddam hussein she was bragging that she voted for the war. About a month ago she was saying we should pull out in three monthsthen she said it would be a disaster if we pulled out and now she's sayind almost nothing. That's way too mush flipfloping for me. |

| Posted By: smartgirl Posted On: Apr 1, 2007 Views: 547 | Michael Savage When my children were young, Their Dad was very ill. He had surgery and was sent home to recuperate. He could neither move or turn over or situp. I moved the childrens toys, trikes, etc. to the back yard so the children would allow their Dad to heal. That day, May 11, 1970, a Tornado hit Libbock, tx on the opposite side of town, killing 26 people. Our side was untouched, except our back fence, facing the alley, was blown completely away. Theives were already entering my yard to steal. I called a man who I knew raised pit-bull dogs. I wanted to rent a pit-bull, but he insisted on loaning the dog to me. He chained the dog to our big pecan tree, and lengthened the chain so the dog could walk the width of the yard where the fence used to be. The pit-bull was awsome to look at. He never growled or barked, but nevertheless, people stopped walking down the alley. I felt so secure, at night when I arose to check on my husband, children, or the weather. The only thing I heard from the back yard, was the chain, hooked to the dog, as he patroled the fence border. In thinking about our many problems and who we need as President in '08, I have my vote down already for Michael Savage. We need a pit-bull in the white house. Savage reminds me of that dog that saved us so many years ago. He also reminds me of Harry Truman. He was a pit-bull too. God placed Truman in the Presidential office, because he had prepared him for just such a time when we needed our President to use the resources (the bomb)to end the war and save millions of lives. I believe God is calling Savage to the Presidency in order to save this great nation and our Constitution. Savage will do it, too. My opinion on the other candidates is this. Rudy: how can he manage our nation when he can't manage his personal life and family? He is dishonest, disloyal, disrespectful, thief, homewrecker, adulterer. and disgusting. This is how he treated his family. Wonder how he would treat us? Edwards: His wife is dying. A stage 4 cancer patient has very few weeks to live. He needs to take his very ill wife home, and gather his children with her, and enjoy them being together while he can. Death is so final. He can run for office later. The family needs him to be there for them now. Hillary & Bill: Don't make me laugh! She has no more character than he does. Most American women would have already dumped him. He is a lying snake in the grass. Obama: He is lying to America. He is a Muslim and Islam is the religion. Don't trust him, America. He will push "Sharia law" down our throats. He is a racist, too. Where are his white relatives? Get real, America! Romney: He is an appeaser. He is also a nice Guy, but in the coming years, we don't need Mr. Nice Guy. We need a pit-bull. Thompson: Looks like he married his grand daughter. How well balanced a thinker is he? McCain: He is too old, too angry and his wife is hooked on herion. My Dr. son tells me that once hooked on that, you can never be free from drugs. We don't need a drug addict in the white house as our First Lady. The rest of the candidates don't have a chance. Dr. Michael Savage will be our next President. God is calling him!!!! |
| Posted By: Emma Dorano Posted On: Mar 30, 2007 Views: 605 | Barack Obama I think Obama should definently be our new president. I think he could be a great president |
| Posted By: Kelley Posted On: Mar 27, 2007 Views: 625 | No Hillary What are the women of this nation thinking? After looking at several polls I just can't believe any woman would want hillary as President. What has she really done other than ride on her philandering husbands coat tails. Why do you think she can manage our nation with all our issues when she can't even manage her own husband? All of the presidential hopefuls have their own skeletons and the mud slinging will be one of the dirtiest we have yet to see. So ask yourself what can you live with? Come on ladies - get involved! We fought for our equality and yet 21-million of you registered female voters did NOT vote in the last presidental election. It's time to get involved... TODAY! Not tomorrow, but now! I am hopeful to see a woman be President in my lifetime - but hillary is NOT the one for us. |
