| Posted By: John Posted On: Mar 16, 2007 Views: 565 | Candidates Info I have been asked to add a few candidates to the website. Due to the hours that it takes to gather information on the candidates, I am only doing research on those candidates who have declared that they are running for president 2008. I am adding candidates to the web poll who have not declared that they are going to run. |

| Posted By: Randy Posted On: Mar 13, 2007 Views: 631 | Romney and Rudy Romney is a Reagan conservative more so than any Republican candidate out there. Guiliani may be ahead in the public polls right now, but they do not mean anything this early in the race. The insider polls show Romney as the leader. He has more endorsements, is raising more money, has better campaign organization, is a solid Reagan conservative, and no skeletons in the closet than any other candidate. By Fall, folks will know Romney better for who he is and the "Mormon issue" will fade. Anything Guiliani can do, Romney does better. Research Romney's record and you will see. Why support a lesser candidate like Guiliani? Guiliani is not going to get the Republican nomination. Social conservatives (evangelicals, etc) expressly oppose Guiliani and are holding out for Brownback, but will ultimately fall behind Romney. |
| Posted By: lsgg Posted On: Mar 12, 2007 Views: 497 | Rudy I'm very concerned about our next president because somewhere in the mix we are going to need to exit Iraq. I am a Vietnam Era veteran and remember too vividly our exodus from that country. We made the biggest mess of things in Southeast Asia and doing the same thing in the Middle East scares the bajeebies outta me. Just getting here thru doctored intelligence is reprehensible. Dick Cheny should be taken to task for this. The outing of a CIA operative should be grounds for impeachment if it could be proven that he was behind it. I totally support our country and servicemen. When I came back to the States in 1973 it wasn't like the respect we gave the general soldiers in 1960. I remember a soldier pickup spot on Hwy 101 at Moffet Field. People would pull thru, pick up a soldier, and take him towards his desitnation. When I came home I not only coudln't get a ride but people avoided me. That's a sad state of affairs. At least today we treat our servicemen with respect. So watching Rudy run NYC during 9-11 was SO impressive. My daughter and her family lived in Manhatten during this time. My son-in-law had an appointment at the Trade Center that morning but it had been postponed, thank God. My daughter views Rudy as a hero even BEFORE 9-11. She says his compassion and hard work ethic did so much for the city of New York. I remember the images of him being downtown in the mix. A far cry from the Mayor of New Orleans during Katrina. I still have nightmares of hundreds of empty school busses sitting in water and elderly people dying in nursing homes. My wife and I worked in New Orleans in 2004. We spent a fair amount of time there and really enjoyed the area. We found the people to be friendly and hard working. It wasn't like the inner city where you had to watch your back all the time. An amazing culture. Then after Katrina we were seeing images of places we'd been and the reports of the elderly dying in nursing homes where we had been. It was so upsetting. We were sure we'd never see New Orleans like it was before Katrina. But in spite of an inept mayor, the city will rebuild and be as vibrant as ever. Thank God for the human spirit. That's what I believe exists in Mayor Guiliani. I'm a die hard republican but this administrations need to attempt to deceive everyone to get engulfed in a major war disturbs me beyond what I can tell you. I'm voting for one of the democratic presidential candidates. It won't be Hillary but it WILL be one of the men who has a track record of leadership and morality. lsgg |
| Posted By: Jena Posted On: Mar 11, 2007 Views: 540 | Abortion I want someone who is against abortion. My sister had twins at 24 weeks and they weighed only 1.5 lbs. Yet they are perfect, healthy babies now. I think if we saw someone kill a preemie, we would be appalled, and even put them in jail. Yet babies that are perfectly viable are killed through abortion. Even though a political candidate may not be able to cure all the social ills that cause people to choose to have an abortion, to me the personal stance that this is murder is one in which a candidate has his or her eyes open to the Truth. |
| Posted By: vernon c. whiddon, jr Posted On: Mar 10, 2007 Views: 429 | next president The one that I believe that I would support is not in the running as yet. I believe he will announce shortly. He is Senator Conan, this may not be how to spell his name, but is close. You may know who I am speaking of. More later if I can get the name spelled right. But none of the one's you have listed interest me at this time. They have nothing new to offer, what ever that is. Oh well, we will just have to wait and see who gets what. I really hope it is who the Lord would have.....vernon c. whiddon, jr. |
| Posted By: Seth Posted On: Mar 8, 2007 Views: 445 | Our Next President I just read Barack Obama's book, "The Audacity of Hope" and was inspired by his honesty and intelligent approach to the important issues that face our country. I hope Americans educate themselves about the opinions and backgrounds of our Presidential candidates in a search for truth and substance so as not to repeat past mistakes in choosing the leader of our country. |

| Posted By: Milton Posted On: Feb 26, 2007 Views: 597 | Michael Savage Yeah, his name is Michael Savage and he already has 1.5 Million Americans willing to back him. He says when he gets to 5 million he is going to challenge McCain and Rudy to a debate. We need change in this country. I think we should go the route that California has gone, and take this country back with a president with 0 political experience. Politicians are liers, cheats, and are ruining this great nation. Hell is full of politicians & lawyers. |
| Posted By: Kenny Posted On: Feb 26, 2007 Views: 586 | Dennis??? I cannot see Dennis ever making a good president, he is way to liberal for this country. We need someone who is well balanced, someone who understands that we have to have a strong military, conservative values without isolating people due to religion, race, sexual identity, etc. We need someone who is going to address global warming and tightening of the borders. We need someone who is going to change the healthcare system and make tax cuts permanent for every American Citizen. I personally believe an underdog is going to emerge in the next 12 months who is going to blow every one away. |
| Posted By: Mike Posted On: Feb 26, 2007 Views: 331 | Dennis Dennis is our best hope, he actually will do whats best for our country, rudy scares me, i dont trust his facist ways |
| Posted By: John Posted On: Feb 23, 2007 Views: 378 | Rudy I believe that Rudy Giuliani should be the next president. He has the leadership quality, he has experience running a city with close to 20 Million People. He hasn't spent hardly any time on Capital Hill, so he isn't corrupt like the others. |
