Take your pick: crappy "reality" TV with scripted drama between beautiful yet idiotic young people, or that same thing between D-list celebrities no one cares about anymore, if they ever did. |

At first I let vh1 off the hook because it seems like they're just making fun of themselves and the genre. But then again, why does vh1 do that any more or less than mtv? I feel that way because vh1's shows are obviously dumb on purpose, but can't you say the same about mtv? Or maybe neither is dumb on purpose. Afterall, if I were to make a show spoofing those types of shows, I'd do either the mtv version or the vh1 version. |
