Posted By: Some Ian Curtis fan Posted On: Mar 8, 2007 Views: 705 | you missed the spin cycle I still don't believe there is no Joy Division up there. The group have since been acclaimed as one of the most inventive, evocative and influential of their era. Thom Jurek writes "They left just a small bit of music and an echo that still rings". You left a big whole in your so called classic music poll. One that the will only be rectified when another member of the band kills himself or if Good Charlotte all kill themselves collectively or die in a fiery plane crash that sends all their souls to hell. I know they say that America has been going downhill since Jimmy Carter gave away the Panama Canal but this, people, this is no way to pull ourselves from Beelzebub's mighty grip. |
Posted By: Michele Posted On: Mar 8, 2007 Views: 705 | kashmir You are right...three people nominated kashmir. It is still early enough in the day to add it to the poll, so i will. |
Posted By: Andrew Ian Dodge Posted On: Mar 8, 2007 Views: 687 | yikes... How could there be no f***ing Kashmir but you included bloody 'Stairway to Heaven'? Hasn't that load of dross been given enough undeserved kudos? |
