| Posted By: Andrea Posted On: Jul 23, 2007 Views: 1683 | anti-christ if you want to get scared or excited look up about the EU and Javier Solano (Javier means Savior) its incredible (he was chosen to lead the EU in article 666.....no kidding - its bizarre - do none of these people read their Bible). I'm a christian looking for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ not the anti-christ, but this has been a good way to draw unbelievers into conversations about Christ. I believe that they know the time is near too. |

The first side is this. Most Christians and most people who go to church are not going to be in the rapture. Because most Christians, as you point out, are half-hearted. The movie 'Left Behind' gives the impression of most if not all Christians 'disappearing'. The Bible however is clear that that is not the case. Most Christians are going to be left behind. The pre-tribulation rapture is only for the Christians who have purified themselves through sanctification by the Holy Spirit, and presented themselves a a Holy and Blameless church (Ephesians 5). I keep getting emails and posts from those who only believe in a post-tribulation rapture, and they often say the same things. I rarely receive an email that actually addresses the Scripture I site, that I say not only proves a pre-tribulation rapture, but also proves that most Christians and all unbelievers will be left behind. Please stop repeating the same points. Please start addressing the Scripture I cite. Here's a great page for you reference: Advanced Rapture Study by SecretsofSurvival.com If you read Revelation 2 and 3, it's clear that most Christians (in God's eyes) are not living Christian lives and are still slaves to sin. The message from chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation is clear: Jesus death on the cross is not a free ticket to keep living in sin. As Christians we are supposed to continually work on conforming to the image of Christ. Through sanctification by the Holy Spirit God enables us to escape sin and become purified by the renewing of our mind. We will never be perfect, but we're supposed to try to be perfect. Matthew 5:48 - Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Now, does a call to stop sinning sound harsh? Well, that's not coming from me. God repeatedly says this in chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation, as a clear warning to all Christians. In fact, if you don't repent, you will face God's wrath. One of the reasons that the pre-tribulation rapture is hard to believe, is that many see how many people are half-hearted Christians and cannot imagine why God would want to take them to Heaven in their sad states. I agree with you there. That is why most Christians are going to be left behind. But there is a pre-tribulation rapture. And I strongly believe that it is the 'Little Book' talked about indepth in Revelation 10. |
| Posted By: dennis Posted On: Jul 23, 2007 Views: 1681 | last days the mystery babylon the great is not america. It is the roman catholic church which sits on 7 hills. a good book to research is "The woman who rides the beast" by Dave Hunt. Scripturaly it is the best book Ive seen on the topic. If I'm not mistaken America is not discussed in Revelation whioch would indicate we are no longer an issue when that time comes. Sorry Dick wrong again but if you want to help invite God back into America before it's too late. D |

I beleive Jesus is coming sooner than we think, and I feel sorry for those who are going to be left behind. People think things are bad now, just wait there going to get a lot worse.Just think when the antichrist comes to rule and you have a choice to either repent and serve God or take his number and be condemed to hell! You better be pre3pared to stand firm in what you believe, because I guarentee your going to wish you were dead. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who [fn2] sleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. THIS CLEARLY STATES THAT WE WILL BY NO MEANS LEAVE BEFORE THE DEAD IN CHRIST RISE. THE DEAD IN CHRIST WILL RISE 1ST. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. | Posted By: Kirk W. Fraser Posted On: Jul 24, 2007 Views: 1662 | Please Help Fulfill This The key scripture that needs to be fulfilled now is for the gospel to be preached to the whole world and then the end will come. We can't do that alone but we can do our part. We can improve the gospel over what tradition and Paul preaches by preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom (Mt 10:7-8) and the New Pentateuch. We can improve coverage by identifying people and their friends to preach in a multiple vector approach -- preaching to reluctant people's friends and rotating lots of believers past the potential believer in case a slight attitude, appearance, or personal prayer change might make the difference. We can improve church experience by focus on growth of spiritual talents, actually helping each other grow toward Jesus via prayer, and having open meetings such as we're having here online instead of lecture only meetings which should be reserved for teaching new disciples, not frequently experienced equal status believers. We can follow Jesus' pattern to reach the world by calling 12 disciples (students) training them in the Gospel for 3.5 years, and sending the 12 out to repeat. These strategies with serious prayer on each should help bring more people to both initial salvation and sustained pursuit of Jesus hopefully enabling fulfillment of preaching to the world first before the end comes. Another important way to fulfill that condition is preaching to all creation by prayer. Pray daily for all people on earth to be saved and brought to the full pursuit of the truth. As you may know from Ham radio, it's possible to communicate around the world with half a watt which is within the power of humans so the more we pray with ALL our soul, heart, mind, and strength the more the world can be moved toward Jesus. |
| Posted By: Kay Posted On: Jul 24, 2007 Views: 1661 | False teachers 1 Peter 2 speaks of false teachers who are even Christians (2:1) but still live in error. Especially 2:18-22, "For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error. Wile they promse them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption and depravity; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage. For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the begining. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened to them ccording to the true proverb: 'A dog returns to his own vomit,' and, 'a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.'" The Bible also tells us that we are to seperate ourselves from those who do not teach biblically. 1 Timothy 6:3-5, "If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to twholesomewords, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evel sispictioins, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself." Obviously, if you are going to make a prediction that goes against what the Bible and Chist clearly say about the end times (Acts 1:6-7, "..'Lord will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?' And He said to them, 'It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in HIS own authority.'") you speak falsly; VERY falsely. Even Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 5:1-2, "But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you haveno need tat I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night." You cannot predict a thief in the night, that's the whole point! Only our Father in Heaven knows the time. And when 2008 rolls around, and your prediction proves false, hopefully people will notice and recognize you as a false teacher. And I pray that at that time, you will, "repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you" (Acts 8:22) [[ Mark's reply: Please note that in my articles I do not predict the date of Jesus coming. What I say is that I believe from reading the Bible that the rapture will occur (Revelation 18:4) as New York City (Mystery Babylon) is destroyed by a nuclear weapon. If that happens in 2007, then you have your date.) ]] Cults are started by men with visions and charismatic personalities. But everyone is so enthralled with them that they never notice when their "prophetic" predictions don't come true. Look at what's going on with the Mormon church and the Jehovah's Witnesses. [[ Mark's reply: Please read my articles (don't just read the titles). I do not predict any dates. What I do is write what my understanding of the Bible is and the Book of Revelation. ]] |
| Posted By: Dave / DeBPrpht Posted On: Jul 24, 2007 Views: 1660 | Rapture First, as there is now another poster named "Dave", I will post under my net name. ....................................................... I agree with Britton. The scriptures themselves, reveal that Chronologically, the events spoken of in both The Old & New Testaments happen in order. The Seventh Trumpet in Revelations, is "The Last Trumpet" that Paul is speaking of. As far as "the Wrath of God"? IT not being placed upon "His Children", is another of Man's False Teachings! There are many, many references of The Almighty God of Israel's wrath having been placed upon His children in the past. Deut. 29: is a good reference, & for one to read the entire chapter would be helpful as to explaining that God's Wrath,as Our Father, has, does, & will come upon His Children / Church. ..................... Joh 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. ...... Here is the more defined wrath to come, & take note THAT IT IS ETERNAL: Mark,..........to say that the persecution that is going on today OVERSEAS, is comparable to what happened to the early church, is like comparing Fulton's steam engine to a modern day power plant. The antichrist will make war with the Saints & overcome them, & this will not happen in Heaven. There is no Scripture that states that there are "Th' rapture saints", & the Tribulation Saints,...... Perhaps in your great wisdom, you could point out to me 20 Living Saints,..........For I TRULY WOULD SEEK THEM OUT, SO AS TO LEARN THE WORD OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD FROM THEM! For I have no desire to suffer through The Tribulation / Time of Jacob's Trouble,..........but if that is the price that I must pay,.........THEN SO BE IT! Before I go,....... ALL OF YOU THAT BELIEVE IN THE PRE-TRIB 'rapture",............You will not partake of the 1000 year reign, for you will not have suffered through The Tribulation / Time of Jacob's Trouble: Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. That takes a Lil' bit of "th' glory" out of hopin' for the mythical rapture doesn't? Not only that,..........But there are ONLY TWO RESURRECTIONS: Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. The Second Resurrection occurs in 20:11-15 Oh Pooh!..........how am I to work into Bible Scripture "Darby's rapture"? Do I take Man's word over The Word of The Almighty God of Israel? Think long & hard about it for "pick & choose doctrine" is a Teaching of Man. Shalom DeBPrpht |
| Posted By: Mark Posted On: Jul 24, 2007 Views: 1659 | Reply to DebP Thank you for pointing out your view of Revelation 20:5 You have just shown that you do not interpret the Bible literally. Let's look at Revelation 20:5 and the context it is in. The definition of the First Resurrection is giving in the following verses: I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) *This* is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. The definition for the "First Resurrection" is given in this passage. What you're trying to do is cite other scripture in the Bible that refers to other events, and then put them all under the umbrella of Revelation 20 "First Resurrection" But that is not what it *says*... In addition, the definition of "First Resurrection" given in Chapter 20 conflict with Jesus teachings in Matthew 24. Whether you believe in a pre-trib rapture, or a post trib rapture, believers who are alive are 'caught up' to Heaven, and we already know that they do not proceed those who are asleep. Those who are asleep are caught up to Heaven also (according to Jesus and Paul). They go to God's kingdom in heaven. You're also saying that those who sat on the thrones were also part of the "First Resurrection". Actually, how the scripture reads, it's clear that they were *present* for the "First Resurrection". So, who are the priests that reign with Christ? Well, this is what it says: And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. *They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years* Please note that they were not seated on the thrones with authority to judge. Also, they must be a special group if they are going to reign with Christ. According to the scripture above, being executed for testimony for Jesus during the great tribulation qualifies you for this group. |
| Posted By: Keoki Posted On: Jul 24, 2007 Views: 1711 | Open or Closed Mind I think to start with one has to have an open mind to give common sense thought to the suggestion being given. If Jesus Christ is spoken and a mind automatic closes... you have already lost your point. Nothing after that will be heard because it is completely rejected with predjudice and an arguement is started... To stand and argue only makes the first point mute,,, |
| Posted By: Crista Posted On: Jul 24, 2007 Views: 1711 | Maryann - mother of the 9 year old child I wept at the note posted by Maryann concerning the death of her 9 year old daughter in 1973. The salvation messages that the daughter had left behind so many days earlier. May God Bless that Dear Blessed mother and may her daughter's legacy as a soul winner be carried on forever... May millions of souls come in by the witness of the letters to us and the mother's desire to keep it alive. I STRONGLY BELIEVE that each and every soul that comes in because of this testimony will be credited to the daughter's heavenly account and she is REJOICING with the Lord in Heaven with each soul saved. That mother truly made Romans 8:28 come alive to me. Now to the reason that I clicked on your website. I was sent a mailing entitled Why Women Cry. From there as I scrolled down and saw other options I saw 2007 Rapture - Shocking Evidence.... I Believe in the Rapture of the Church and God Bless my Children as they have heard it ALL of their lives. I never grow weary of WATCHING and WAITING! My children doubt the rapture of the church because they have heard it all of their lives. I have explained it to them this way but it falls on deaf ears. A woman is pregnant. It takes 9 full months to have a full term delivery. Just because you do not see the birth until it comes, it does not mean that she is not pregnant and you can see "the signs" of that pregnancy. So it is with the coming of the Lord. The signs all signal His SOON COMING RETURN! I AM READY! I AM WATCHING! I AM WAITING! I AM GOING!!!! I was deeply encouraged by the artice 2007 Rapture. Time will tell. THE SIGNS ARE ALL UPON US! THANK YOU FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT! WE NEED NOT FEAR to those that may read the article and tremble with terror. BE READY! ACCEPT JESUS INTO YOUR HEART! LIVE FOR HIM! KEEP WATCHING AND WAITING AND YOU TOO WILL MISS THE HORRIFIC TRIBULATION THAT WILL COME UPON THE EARTH. It was just last week I was deeply encouraged as my 12 year old grandson and I were driving along and he yelled GRANDMA, LOOK AT THAT CLOUD! There were literally no other clouds in the sky. It was the most Beautiful Cloud so Large and set apart in the sky as no other clouds were in sight. It had a pinkish tint surrounding the Large White FLUFFY part and the White was Laced with Blue against the most magnificient Blue Sky. He suddenly started to tell me all that he saw in the cloud. I should have written down all that he saw as my memory is not the best but he spoke of angels. One was holding a trumpet READY TO BLOW IT and He saw Jesus standing in the middle, an angel on each side. I was driving and I kept saying WHERE? WHERE as I could not see anything that he saw. I could only see the Beauty of the Cloud as I was Driving. I was deeply encouraged at what he saw though. Now today, I read your artice 2007 Rapture. I am deeply encouraged. I was also deeply encouraged by the comment made about the 7 year old boy that had the dream about the rapture but he did not live with his Mom. Her child was now 34 or something like that and living in another state. OH THANK YOU for such an encouraging website Mark Lawrence. I do not know who you are but I'll meet you in heaven. May the Lord Bless You and Keep You. May the Lord Make His Face Shine Upon You and Be Gracious Unto You. May the Lord Turn His Face Toward You and Give You Peace. The Lord Is Our Sun and Shield. He Is Our Grace and Glory. No Good Thing Will He With Hold From Them that Walk Uprightly. We Walk Uprightly Before Him therefore He Will With Hold No Good Thing From Us. That is the Blessing that my Mom and I give to each other daily. WE ARE WATCHING AND WAITING FOR HIS SOON COMING RETURN!!!! 2007 Rapture ? We are Watching and Waiting - SEE YA THERE!!!! |
| Posted By: Casey Posted On: Jul 24, 2007 Views: 1706 | u need to look a little deeper into the Bible hey mark u confused me a bit on ur beliefs with some of this. i dont know wat u were studying but u need to look a little deeper into the Bible. I beleive in pre-tribulation rapture just as u do but there was a few things in there that arent quite right and as i was reading it i got the feeling that it didnt seem that u always believed wat u were talking about. i do agree with most of wat u said except for a few things. I encourage u to read 1 thessalonians 4 again. ya it does say that God wants us to live lives pleasing to Him but it does not say threaten that we wont be raptured. Remember wat Acts 16:31 says "beleive on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be SAVED." thats pretty clear that all u need to do is believe and u will saved from the judgement WE ALL DESERVE. There's also Ephesians 2:8-9 that says we are saved by GRACE through FAITH and that it is NOT OF OURSELVES, NOT BY WORKS. thats pretty clear that its God who saves us not ourselves. u r making it seem that we have to be good to be raptured. u r teaching a gospel through works and the Bible is clear that it is not by works. [[ Mark's reply: I agree with you completely where you say: Ephesians 2:8-9 that says we are saved by GRACE through FAITH and that it is NOT OF OURSELVES, NOT BY WORKS Yes, our salvation cannot be earned by works. However, your deeds will always reveal your true spiritual state, as indicated by the Lord's words, "You will know them by their fruits." (Matthew 7:16, Romans 2:6-8). Though salvation is wholly by God's grace through faith alone, deeds confirm or deny the presence of genuine salvation (James 2:14) In other words, you can't call yourself a Christian if you do not live like a Christian. Sure, you might go to church every Sunday, but if you have bouts of road rage, if you're greedy and immoral and dishonest, it doesn't matter how much you pray to God every night for forgiveness, you will not get into the kingdom of heaven until you repent and seek to follow God's commands. Please read Revelation Chapters 2 and 3. God is very clear on this. ]] Also, later in thessalonians 4 it says, "14. We beleive that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15. According to the Lord's own Word, we tell you that we who alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16. For the Lord Himself will come down down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17. After that, we who are still alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord. Therefore ENCOURAGE eachother with these words." That scripture says it plain and simple and it never says that "those who are alive and remain and are perfect will be caught up." the truth is none of us are perfect and we never will be Romans 3:23 says "for ALL have sinned and FALLEN SHORT of the Glory of God." Isaiah says "all our good deeds are as FILTHY RAGS" [[ Mark's reply: You're right all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. That is why Jesus died on the cross, to pay the penalty for our sins. However, to receive forgiveness for our sins, we are expected to repent (strive to stop sinning). God knows hearts and minds. He knows when we are trying to not sin, verses when we are not worried about it (which would describe a 'lukewarm' Christian that God says he detests in Rev. 3:16) ]] face it we will never live lives perfectly pleasing to God, thats our sin nature. thats y God sent Jesus to pay the penalty for our sins. but with everything we got we still need to do our best to follow God's will and obey His rules. well thanx for writing this article anyways its got some good stuff in it but next time try and study a bit more b4 u post something important like this, i mean this is our future we're talkin about here. and dont be so threatening and hateful with it, God wants us to be loving when we share His Word, even if its not good news. One more thing, i strongly advise that u not worry so much about this sort of thing. still get it right, but as Christains we need to be doing everything we can to reach people for the Christ and win as many souls to Him as we can, not worrying about the future and threatening people. Sorry about the long letter but when i saw that thousands of people have read this page i decided it would be important to say something. God Bless! In Christ, Casey Spaargaren [[ Mark's reply: Please read Chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation. God is very clear on what he expects from us. ]] |
| Posted By: Little Brother Posted On: Jul 24, 2007 Views: 1841 | The last days I bleieve what God's word says about watching for the signs and that we can tell when the End is near. Revolations isn't clear about America's demise or that the U.S. will even exzist at the time of tribulation. The word says that the AntiChrist will not come into power until the ONE who hinders him is removed(the Holy spirit). This would prove that all true believers will be taken and those who have not truely repented in thier hearts and recieved the Lord ship of Jesus Christ, will stay behind to be tested. This isn't a mystery because the word says that you will "know them by thier fruites". Many Christians suffer thier own tribulations in Life and I believe that every true believer will be tested to see the genuity of there love and faith wiether it be in life or the final tribulation............. |
