Ultimately, with a gun to my head I just don't want to see him anymore, he's on t.v. too much - covered on sports, and the news. Plus shows like the daily show/colbert report are doing so many jokes about him eventually it's like 'we get it he said some dumb stuff.' I wouldn't be surprised to see a few Family Guy "like that time when"s having to do with Imus. I had never heard of the guy before now, but apparently he has some history with "racial slurs" (am I spelling slur right?) As far as how the nation is dealing with this, everyone is responding in different ways, some not at all, which makes America great. One guy can say he thinks Imus should be tortured, another one might say they don't give a ****, and some might say he has the right idea. You can't expect everyone to think about this issue the same way, |

He was an angry asian man named Cho (has a green card from South Korea) who was a loner and had a history of writing pappers laced with cussing and violence. No need to check the the artivle- that about sums it up. I was listening to the black folk at work yesterday talking about how if it was a black guy it would have said "black gunman" before the name and everything was all released and that it must have been a white guy because the race was not identified. I'm the new story proved those cry babies wrong. |

The black folk work just about everywhere now but they really love sports the most it seems. Although they don't like the cold and hence tend to avoid hockey\Skiing and for some reason not fans of bowling. There is nothing wrong with saying black folk. Ther would be somthing worng with Nigger folk. But Black folk and kin folk and folk music is just fine. I have nothing against black folk and I even talk to them from time to time! |

I don't see why anyone should be offended unless it's derogatory: Black is a color describing your skin texture, and the fact that anyone would assume that black was an insult is somewhat racist itself. Saying N*gger folk would be offensive to some, simply because it*is* an insult and *is* derogatory. Nor does it mean skin color, in spite of the fact that it is generally used for hate against black people. The world n*gger itself was used very often in the slavery days, and that's a pretty sensitive time that everyone wishes didn't happen (except for KKK members, ect.) In spite of the fact that I am all about not being racist, I have noticed that I see very few black people playing hockey, at least on T.V. |
